Sir are you civil engineer in new zealand? Can you tell me more about this because I am also a graduate civil engineer from India, looking for opportunities in New Zealand as a design engineer.
Good opps available , best way forward could be a masters degree in civil Eng , check out the green list on immigration nz PR after a job offer is a cake walk in this list , you might have to get charted cert which will only happen after work ex , but if you are good enough you’ll get a job pretty easy here lots of work happening in this sector here .

Hello , for basic lifestyle - I'd say anything between 450 to 600 nzd Per week for a 2 bedroom independent house , one bedroom studio could be between 400 to 500 - all depends on the location . Grocery for 2 would be around 160 to 200 a week , two phones would be around 80 a month , Internet around the same , if you plan to have a car your rego, wof , insurance would be around 1k a year plus the fuel you use.
Clothes and other stuff are almost the same price as india depends on what you buy , entertainment stuff is probably 2x more expensive - big max index is 4.16 compared to india's 2.31
I'd say overall you can have a basic set up for something like 4k to 5k nzd a month.

Yes , usually here you can change streams very easy , diploma mein toh bohot easily .

Immigration scams are quite high these days in nz can happen in any job profile , be careful and choose agent / lawyer who is trustworthy and registered .also do your own research and email immigration nz if you have any doubts with visa letters etc
