Hey Remy, I have several kinds of nepenthes and all are doing well. They're in the same conditions, but one of them is getting burned lids/pitchers. Most of my pitcher plants are hybrids, so perhaps they require different conditions?
Yes they are all different, a hybrid between 2 lowland will be different from a hybrid between 2 highlant. ;) Maybe check the needs on the Nep that is burnt? ruclips.net/video/_CO6Tk6Qjyc/видео.html

Hi ! Thanks for your useful videos !! I check them every time I need to do something to my plants !! Yesterday I forgot to water my Nepenthes, which I have it hanging below an avocado tree in my garden, and today I found the substrate compacted, the leaves dry, stiff and somewhat deformed. I watered it over immediately. Will I have to water it more often ? Do you think it will recover ? Thanks for the info !!
It will recover for sure. :) To be sure, you can even put the pot in water for 30 minutes to let the substrate fully soak. Then hang it back and the excess of water will drop out of the pot.

Thanks for saying you're in Florida. I was about to ask you because watering depends on the humidity. Your humidity is probably 50% so every 2-3 days it's good. Me in Canada I would have less drainage and more watering. ;)

Why all my new pitcher seem dry out at very small size.. I live in South East Asia, and I give 3-4hours direct sunlight with spray of mist to make sure it’s always moist on the leaf which it dry up fast with winds and sunlight.. I am having a common Pitcher plant that is home grown plant in Singapore… it keep growing lot of leafs.. but the pitcher is not growing at the tip of the leaf..
I don't know the humidity where you live but inside an house, it's 80% a lack of light. (maybe this video will help you: ruclips.net/video/pWVpSNdVIgo/видео.html). Can you protect it from the wind?
The area I stay comes with constant 30 to 32DegC in the day and 25 to 27Deg C in the night with relative humidity around 70% to 80% Rh.. the plant is always at outdoor.. the only thing I do is shifting to the direct sun area for few hours and shifting back to sun shade but very bright area daily.. I suppose I do not need a greenhouse like you did..
If I hang it at the windowsill with direct sunlight onto plant, it will be about 32DegC.. if I hang it under shade, it’s about 29degC directly facing cloud.. if that’s the case, then I will not pull it under direct sun..
@@WindowsillNepenthes i think it's old pitcher because when first time i unboxing, it's already there. So i'm still curious where's the fluid inside nepenthes come from.

Do you water your nepenthes in your greenhouse differently from your nepenthes on your windowsill? Because your window sill gets direct light, which will help the water in your tray evaporate more. Does your greenhouse get the same evaporation?
