    Cute. Lucky a production crew followed him to keep him safe and that no paedophiles snatched him up. It isn't worth it to send a child this young, alone, on a journey so far without a hidden support team. The results may end poorly. It is better to do local tasks/journey and just shadow them without them knowing at first.

I would actually let my kids do errands on their own but shadow them yes. That being said, Singapore is also a place with a lot of cameras etc and people are generally law abiding. So maybe when my child is 8 or so I would let them go on their own.

    I did this every week when I was 5 or 6. My parents had to work halfday on Saturday and being me, I am just so bored. So I took the bus and MRT from AMK to Pasir Ris by myself. The first time I did it, my parents cant believe me. I literally steal my dad's ezlini card (sorry dad, RIP). I left the house at 11.30am, so by the time my mother is home around 12.15pm, I didnt arrive at Pasir Ris yet. So she was so damn scared. I walked around quite a bit and I remember being helped by an old auntie in City Hall station. God bless you auntie. Only when I arrive in Pasir Ris, my grandma call AMK and told my mother, that I arrived, alone. I got the spanking of my life but also the deepest hug. The next weekend, and the other weekend and the rest of the other weekend, I just go out to Pasir Ris alone. 😁
    That being said, it is super safe in Singapore. My mother always told me that, just ask people if you dont know anything. 11 out of 10 people will help. 😊
    And the kid in this video, he is just adorable. I do believe kids should be taught to travel alone. But not to the northern suburbs. 😓 Sorry, I have nothing against Yishun, Sembawang or Woodlands. But ....... 😁 Just sorry.

  • @lordhitler4038
    @lordhitler4038 5 лет назад +8

    Yeah its true, the anxiety or the fear is from the mother /the parents not the child, because thats happen to me also, i work in the city, and it took about 4/5 hours from my hometown, so i have to stay there, and my parents didn't let me go alone, my father whould accompany me until to the workplace. And i was 18 that time 😂, even tho now, they still worried so much, when i go home alone, or go somewhere alone, they'll keep calling me so many times,😂
    But they never been so worried to my little brother whenever he going somewhere alone, even to the city, they'll just told him to call them when he reach.
