I always thought it was just a cardio workout, didn’t really know it had a purpose, thanks coach!
That's what most people think. Every drill we do has an intent and purpose to improve speed and athleticism!
all you high knee drills have really helped me! I will be adding this to my workout, thanks coach!
Great to hear Chad, keep up the hard work!
Great video
Lol I find it funny that in my video where I do 51.99 400m
I do exactly what this drill is aiming to prevent
I’m going to incorporate this for today’s training. Gracias 🤙
Michael, thanks for the comment. It's definitely extremely hard to maintain good sprint posture and knee drive at the end of a 400m race. I always tell my athletes to check posture at the 300m mark and then imagine driving the knee and lifting the foot over a 6" hurdle. Make sure to checkout the 2 progressions from this drill in the 'Pinned" comment. Keep up the hard work!
Great tips, thank you coach!!!
Thanks, no problem!
Amazing. Do make a video on partner harness sprint. How the athlete should be and how the partner should be.
Thanks! Yes, the link below shows a preview of resisted sprint starts at the end of the video. One of my next videos will be a resisted partner sprint.
