As someone who used to yard sale a lot, I can say that if you have a lot of good stuff, promote it well (with pics online) and have good clear signage, people will come in September/fall. I know hardcore yard sale types that will only stop for snow lol. Also, Goodwill will take any books, even advanced readers. I have seen them at stores.
