That silent F*ck at discovering the truth about Anna is Catherine realising that for all her smarts, ego and attitude throughout the film, she’s fallen victim to the oldest motive in history: jealousy. She saw Crown with another woman, assumed the worst and betrayed him.
That’s why she remembered him kissing her on the head twice: it was because kissing on the head is a sign of affection between parent and child which he technically is (her guardian but still).

I really enjoy this film, every time that I watch it!! I’ve tried to watch the original film with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, but just haven’t been able to last more than 15-20 minutes. Perhaps if I had seen the original film years ago, maybe I would have liked it. This version is just sooooo much better‼️

The original, was a different time. Slower, taking more time to take you through the story, building to the ending. Which might be the best, (But I don't want to spoil it for you)
