I've been watching vehicle conversions for the last 10 years on RUclips, must be 1000's. Your level or detail, workmanship, story and camera work is one of the best I've come across. Love your videos guys, please never stop. Cheers, Kyle
Can't imagine how many millions are spent on weekly reality shows on tv, none of them hold a candle to what you do. Couldn't care less about the dross on tv but I couldn't bear to miss one of your video's. I think it's because of the genuine care and love you put into what you do. Keep 'em coming.
This absolutely cracked us up! Love the banter between you two and Big Red is looking bloody marvelous - what a banger job you guys are doing! How about putting that original filler cap in the center of the spare wheel somehow? Could maybe incorporate it into the rear mount you spoke of. Hopefully we meet someday soon. Cheers, Chris & Ange
12:03 Thanks Guys my wife's just entered my man-cave with my breakfast just has Jon was modeling the red bikini , she just turned and looked at me and said " am getting rather worried about you Terry : 🤣🤣🤣 why are you watching some bloke in a bikini ". Not sure how to answer that - any how great content loving the van build
Spray painting is like alchemy, I used to do alloy wheel refurbishing and you have to get the prep right, the mixture right, the hardener and thinner right, it's seriously hard to do, well done for painting an entire vehicle, I wouldn't have the balls
Turn the water inlet into a light fixture? Either for a ceiling blub or something on a table. Loving the episodes so far, earned yourselves a new subscriber, I think the threat from Jess did the trick.
Love the fact that you resprayed her in the original red. Here in Germany most fire engines that get converted get resprayed in some lifeless grey and I am SO over it.
Even everything that has to do with fire, like fire alarms, fire extinguishers, fire trucks, everything that has to do with this, is painted in RAL 3000.
What about making your water filler point into a porthole? Cut out the centre and make it glass. Don't know where you would mount it but just an idea. Another great video guys, we'll done on the progress
That would be so cool! Love it! Don’t think I can get the centre piece out without destroying it though unfortunately it’s siezed shut but would be so cool
If you end up having a wooden table inside, you could use the water filler as a center piece/table mount. Cut a hole out in the table to set the filler in, and then attach the table leg to the center of the filler. If that makes sense.
@@truebluetravellers Yeah I think it would work really well! If you could find something else off her for the hands of the clock too then that would be even better!
Well there may be a few other couples doing the 6x6 conversions. But guys, they’re in your shadow 😂 Loved the banter and content this week. Jess swearing in the outtakes is pure gold, love it. Best part for me. Seeing both your expressions and genuine excitement at how great the paint turned out. She looks awesome. Loving the progress (and filming bombs from Brian 🐕).
Not just loving these vids but, all the comments everyone makes as to how well you both do & I agree with them all. There's so much that goes on & they are so entertaining, informative, funny & some weird bits that we'd have trouble explaining, but I love 'em 😂😄 I have to say that because Jess scared me with the "I'll break you" comment😬😂 I think she even knows where I live😱😬😂😂
@@truebluetravellers Aw no problem. You make them so entertaining & know you work so hard filming & editing as well as everything else including dog sitting & bouncer duties💪 😂😂
Great work so far guy's. Just make sure that you cover any glass when you are welding or grinding in future, those sparks stick to glass like you would'nt believe and will ruin it.
Now eating my breakfast and getting my Saturday morning fix. Looks absolutely brilliant,so much looking forward to next week and seeing how the build is progressing. Love John in his manakini😂
I always feel a bit emotional watching someone put love back into something no one else wants :) My last project was a house in France I bought for seven thousand euros a few years ago! Fantastic job guys, I am really enjoying this! Happy weekend! x
Discovered this channel on Tuesday, binged watched 27 episodes in the last 2 days, love this channel.Keep up the good work... love it. Best regards from Belgium
Legends! Saturday can now officially begin! As for your water thing- I think maybe the interior light, table base, or a handy tool to keep Jon in line! Big love to you both x

That’s lovely of you to say thanks 💙 I think they do a great job, especially living out of a motorhome, on the other side of the world with a toddler in tow!
How about using the filler cap as the clamp for the spare wheel? John could drill the PCD for the studs and then use cap cover to sandwich it to the bracket. Give it a clean up, polish and clear coat and it'll be in full view for all to see.
You two are crazy and these camper build vids are TV quality👌👌👌 I’d try to make a spot light out of that water thing and put it on the roof above the window screen
That’s a cool idea 👌 will see if it would fit in the top panel, might be a bit big but could maybe go in the middle of the roof rack between spotties too 👍

Love you two! Old Red is coming along very nicely. Can't wait for the next episode. I painted my van on the side of the road . Absolutely nightmare. Looks alright from a distance! 😂
Love this build and the channel, my shout for the water inlet would be to drill out the centre and run your water through it to make a wall mounted tap for your sink. It then kind of keeps it's original purpose.
I just started watching one of the build video in the food delivery truck and damn I got sucked up and before I knew I swallowed almost all your chanel's content. Amazing cheery vibes, good tips and splendid work. All I can do is just watch and laugh with you, thanks!
If you take the centre out of the old water filler and put it on John's head, you can use it as a guide for when he has his next hair cut.
😂
