Excellent review, educational, clear and effective. As you show it, it doesn't look intimidating, I was planning to have one anyway, but this video confirms what I expected. (I'm a bass player, weird people.)
You played it on a desktop but I thought that the inbuilt accelerometer allowed you to move it around and alter the sounds and make it more expressive if played on your lap.
It also comes with table bobbers that allow you to move the x y axis without needing to sit it on your lap. I rarely use mine on my lap as I have it set up in a click and go studio set up.

Real shame its too complicated because it does sound good..but i have problems with my wrist and the way your twisting your hands would be agony.
