.38 seconds in he states that the psalms state that God is our rescuer and
then he states only christ is. Plase note in the times of King David the composer of the psalms the concept of christ was foreign to him the concept of the trinity was foreign to him the concept of any one but God himself as the one who holds salvation was foreign to him. A son of man the Jewish bible phrase for any mortal Ezekiel is constantly called son of man, the thought that a son of man is also a God of men was a sin the king David the composer of the book of psalms (please thr first of the ten commandments)

I’m a 15 year old Catholic convert (finished conversion at 14). My parents are atheist and something you said really stuck out to me. It was the part about people not liking to talk about sin. I went to confession last weekend and my mom said “you have no sins, you’ve done nothing bad. You’re 14”. I think with religion we recognize all of us are broken people. I think with atheism people think that we are all perfect but so,times do bad things (for lack of better words). I think my parents and atheists in general don’t like to talk about sin, because they genuinely don’t understand it. Anyways may God bless you all and pray for my parents if you can. Matt Fradd isn't interested; he's too busy to flatter Ben Shapiro, who despises and denies Christ. Indeed Judaeo-Christian values are an oxymoron. Plus, according to apostolic and traditional Christianity, Christians are God's chosen. It's disappointing but very telling that Fradd ignores the fact that Candice Owens, a fellow Catholic, lost her job after stating that Christ is King, criticizing Israel and the current war, and debating Rabbi Shmuley and Barley. He invites Shapiro rather than Candace and agrees with him.

See, it's statements like that that always pushed me away from Abrahamic religions. You should do good things to do good, and you should gain wisdom through experiencing life and the sorrows and joys it brings, seeking meaning in oneself and the universe.
Fear is tool to control and oppress. is it really faith, or good, if you're doing it out of fear of punishment? I don't think so. If the only reason you won't or will do something is because you're scared of God or Hell, then you're not actually doing what's right or good, you're just a coward.

    • @arkainin4638
      @arkainin4638 Месяц назад +1

@@BGCflyer Okay, but, that does not quite track with how religion is pushed today. Not all, but many push the narrative that if you're bad you go to hell.
Therefore, you should be good to be rewarded and to avoid punishment.
Also, the use of the word fear still means to be afraid in this context. Specifically in historical context, a health fear of the powers that be was what forced respect and obedience.
For example, you show great respect to a feudal lord, because you fear their swords and soldiers if you do not do so. The Bible is pretty clear that you should be terrified of God and do as told or be punished.
New Testament tries to back peddle on that some, but it does not do so entirely.
That mentality doesn't smack to me of faith and an honest desire to do good or worship.

Now, when we can see that death, in one way or another, be it a slow decline of health, cause/reaction from terrible and selfish choices, etc. This is what it means when the scriptures say the payment for sin is death. We are eternal beings trying to comprehend eternity through a physical experience.
As a recovering addict, and really just an all around mess of a person, I can see clearly that those who justify their hedonistic behavior are in fact their own gods and their ego will not allow them to see the cosmos and our existence for what it truly is. At least as much as our finite minds will allow.

You’re already shining truth, regarding all the chaos the media puts out. Now, may our Heavenly Father reveal Himself, in the mighty name of JESUS❣️ It’s not about religion, it’s about faith. The religious leaders practiced religion, amd their hearts were turned to themselves. Faith is truly living and honoring the one who created us, walking humbly, and representing Jesus. And when we fail, we sense the Spirit that lives within us, stirring our hearts to confess our sin. And He is faithful to forgive, because of what Jesus did❣️ The enemy will try to make us stumble and draw us away. But we rebuke satan in the mighty Name of Jesus. May we never give up, and may we fight the good fight, in the mighty name of Jesus.

That was fabulous I love hearing about the Catholic faith as I’ve been going to RCaiA to become Catholic
However, I always wanna make sure that I’m in line with Judaism as well as that’s the original religion Jesus was a Jew we can’t be too far from judaism ❤
Please Ben go on Matt’s show so we can hear more about your faith

Judaism is a perversion of Christianity. Catholicism is the continuation of the Old Testament religion. Read Salvation is from the Jews at ignatius press.

@@Anyone690How can Judaism be the perversion when it’s the original? Christians altered and added to the OT.
The Talmud? I don’t know if the Catholic should criticize humans taking it upon themselves to establish laws and traditions to follow too much. Some of the criticisms apply to Catholics too. Even then, it wouldn’t pervert Christianity since the differentiating material comes from the New Testament, which they don’t study or believe

I love u guys! Glory to God. I see a shift in modern-day curiosity better than ever toward the importance of God. It's been dormant for far too long. People are really catching on and beginning to tune in. You guys and the like are really making a huge contribution and difference for humanity. We are that of intelligent design it's not rocket science. 'In the end, my immaculate heart will triumph.' Yes, I can see it! Live Jesus our love and Mary our hope! AM&DG.

Hi Ben, I've been listening to you for years and first saw Matt on your show. It's great to hear Matt on this side of the interview. This was one of my favorite Sunday Specials! I love the dialogue you build with your guests. I especially loved hearing about your "abstruse" Jewish laws, prayer rituals, and practices on the Sabbath - was very interesting and informative to me as a Catholic. You mentioned these being questions you never get asked (and I know that's true because they're questions I've had), and I for one hope you get the chance to talk about your faith and practice of it more, maybe on PWA! God bless you both
