low end mode is not flicker free, only running the light at 14KhZ. It has caught me out a few times, at 120FPS on a red and at 200FPS on Alexa but i use this mode all the time! Great video by the way
Love this pro tip Jeff! When you do a USB load-in, does that mean you don't need to perform a factory reset anymore? Or do you still tend to reset first before loading your settings in? Does Skypanel in Mode 6 still respond well to the Hue/Sat control on Blackout? Most gaffers & DP's I work with just like to play with the color wheel and/or give me direct hue/sat numbers... which are only 2 things to remember instead of the 3x that RGB has. Does RGBW Color Space>Calibrated Color Space trick also work in Skypanel Mode 30 on Blackout in RGB or HSI Mode?
David Choo yea you don’t need to do a factory reset when you load your settings from USB because all the fixture settings will be replaced. In Blackout RGB is auto converted in every fixture from HSI-RGB or RGB-HSI so you can still use this method. And yes it also applies to Mode 30
Once you get your Skypanel into the settings you want, simply go to USB Functions->Fixture Settings->Save Settings. Insert a clean USB stick and it will save onto it
@@markdp123 No, but typically USB drives are formatted FAT32 which is what I was using. I just keep a USB stick I got for free from a tradeshow with this file on it and nothing else so I can label it like you see on my tape tag.
The pre-programmed thumb drive is a brilliant idea!

Andrew Lock ah right great note!
I'm one of those looking for pale or brighter colors adjusting rgb values. From now on doing it with Kelvins. Thanks Jeff!

Very helpful. Thanks!
How do you load the thumb drive with your program setting in the first place?

Thank you! I know I should know this, but perhaps my ignorance will help others too😬
@@blackoutapp Does the USB drive require any specific formatting before doing this?

Blackout Lighting Console - FAT32 makes sense - works on almost everything. 👍🏼
Hello where I get this setting
