COVID 19 has changed how students are educated around the world. This has given us a glimpse at how education could change for the better in the long term. It is time for us in India to re-imagine our education , where new solutions for education could lead to surprising innovations. Learning everywhere and anytime will be complemented with new learning modalities.
Technology has played a very important role in reshaping Education specially in COVID times. Most schools and institutions have found a stop gap solution to continue teaching but the quality of learning is heavily dependent on the level and quality of digital access. Virtual classes at home may be the new normal in metros but many students in rural areas have been badly affected during the lockdown period. The digital divide could become extreme if educational access is dictated by access to latest technologies.
