Dr Forrest, I have long appreciated your music and arrangements. I am inspired especially by how you endeavor to bring across the beauty in music to point others to God, for His glory. Thank you also for this creative arrangement which incorporates Irish elements :) May God continue to use your music to touch many for Him 😊
Such a great arrangement of this classic Christmas staple - it breathes new life into it. And into us as listeners! Thank you for this!
A timeless classic that Dan rings joyous to our ears.
BEAUTIFUL !!!! HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AROUND THE WORLD !!!! FROM U.K. (2021).
I believe that is the sanctuary of First Baptist Church on West Fifth St, Winston-Salem, NC rather than Wait Chapel at WFU. Both are in Winston-Salem! Beautiful, powerful, and moving music for Christmas and other times needing JOY in the year!!
Correct; the premiere in Wait Chapel was prior to the performance recorded here.
@@DanForrestMusic Thanks for your clarification - I was born in W-S, my sister was a member at FBC, and our daughter graduated from WFU. Around early December 2021 I heard your arrangement of "O Come, All Ye Faithful" as sung by 1st Methodist Houston (TX) choir with piano and organ accompaniment - wonderful! While looking for other recordings of your arrangements on RUclips, I was amazed by the excitement and joy on the singers faces by the BYU combined choirs and orchestra as they sang "O Come, All Ye Faithful" - powerful - as I think are most of your arrangements that I have heard. A Quaker pastor.
Me encantó BRAVO 👏 🙌
Wow you're in my state!
Such a superb performance! If the choir had been amplified just a bit more, though, it would have been perfect.
Nice setting of 'Joy to the World,' but it's unfortunate that the trad ensemble is almost completely lost in the mix.
What, no trumpets, whaaaaaat?!?
The full orchestral version includes trumpets. Here's video with them: ruclips.net/video/YVKzewcmucQ/видео.html
Masked singers. How sad!
Lol that’s definitely not sad, you can still hear them. Don’t know why it’s such a big deal
The concertmasters mask is pointless. Why is she even wearing one.
How is it pointless? They’re literally just taking precautions
