@@73bugs21 there is a crazy glitch in terraria that allows you to transmute items into others by combining item ids. it's really complicated so i won't try to explain it, but this is what they are referring to.
I'm curious if terraria also has negative buffs, because i remember once entering a world on xbox 360 version and having a lot of buffs that didn't correspond with anything that exists in the game and didn't seem to do anything, they just had random icons and durations i don't remember, but iirc were very short, like too short to get to read their names etc.
As a suggestion for a future video, I'd want to see you use the DragonLens mod's "Show Hitboxes" feature show the Flying Dragon projectile hitbox's obscurely unchanged interaction with objects that can be broken with tool and weapon hitboxes (ex. pots, pumpkins, vines, weeds, Queen Bee larvae, etc.). The hitbox for the Flying Dragon's projectile did change to match the size of the sprite when interacting with NPCs, but not for when it interacts with objects that can be broken with tool and weapon hitboxes. (don't know the exact update that changed it's hitbox size though) I have known about this for over a year from playing on the Nintendo Switch version but never publicly spoke up about it before until now.

Is this a reference to the hit video game Terraria???
I was ready for a vid
No Sorry, give us 5 bucks now
That's okay, these things happen sometimes.
Thank you for reposting this video at 8 pm for me😊😊
Oh so that's why trying to transmute items below got us a bunch of phasesabers... good to know !

ironic that the video id also starts with a minus
This is the second comment this day that I've seen that references video id.
Hadn't seen comments like this in a long bloody while
irony is a fireman dying to a house fire
coincidence is the video id
"If you use the wiki a lot." You are talking about terarria, we all use the wiki more than we should
Maybe even more time than actually playing Terraria
I don't use the wiki much. Don't remember the last time I did tbh.
I wish my real life responsibilities were also in negative numbers.
me too man
Sounds like a boring fucking life.
I mean my financial responsibility is in the negative, is that good?
So this means that... You want your negative life responsibilities to do you to balance it out?
Fancy meeting you here.

IDK, I kind of prefer uoJ!
Dunno about plob, but but plomb = lead.

RAAAAAH POLISH TERRARIA RUclipsR MENTIONED, WHEN THE FUCK WILL HE EVER UPLOAD AGAIN???
Great video. Probably my new favorite of yours! It definitely brought me back to the days of 1.1 and 1.2 Terraria.

I was using IDs to get all the items in the game, then I ended up discovering these negative IDs. I found it a bit strange but decided to ignore it.

i love how comprihensively you explain everything

i cant comprehend how theyre still working on the game when the code is that bad
how many places do they need to change when adding a single item thats crazy
it's not uncommon for games to have absolutely horrible code
code quality has nothing to do with game popularity, sadly (ig)
Enum ids aren't bad at all since they have a specific name that can be referenced in code, no magic numbers.
That's the reason they want to stop updating it

Do the items have the old sprites if they are on an item display or something?
In the code, they literally just clone the newer items, so probably not.
