Today I had 20 minutes to teach a group of university students with no reading experience:
1) What Event Risk is, and it’s effect on the markets.
2) What the NFP is and how to read/predict the data
3) How to use MT4
Before then getting them to place trades for the data release.
For this reason, there was no time for in depth explanations or super detailed teaching on the topic at hand, we had to get the rough basics under our belt and then press on!

Looking at nfp numbers and making a decision to trade is like looking at the moons cycle, and deciding what colour of jacket to wear today. i, I, i just can't comprehend how you can make money trading fundamental numbers.
It was simply a bit of fun for a university workshop we were running Josh.

Hi man, of course it is extremely simplified and watered down. I had 10 minutes to teach this class about event risk and market reactions before they placed the trades for the NFP.
