It would be very nice if you had a specific sensor dedicated just for tool management. For example, a sensor with magnet detection, tool fall detection, humidity and meshnet. Meshnet is very valuable for construction as it is way easier to track tools on projects because all of them are actively connected between each other.

Hello! Bluetooth® signal strength through truck walls depends on various conditions, such as wall thickness and materials, mounting place and the position of the GPS tracker (or another gateway). Thus, we recommend thoroughly testing the solution in the vehicles. For the best results in such difficult environments, we recommend choosing the highest Tx signal strength option and more frequent advertising option of EYE Sensor via the EYE APP. Please keep in mind that high signal strength and frequent advertising affect the battery life of EYE Sensor.
I do not see a lot of these features on the FMC640. Not able to configure by name which is important for trucks that use more than 4 trailers. Also you active normal i/o where we have to enable ble_temp, ble_humidity etc.

Hello, thank you for your comment! EYE Beacons & EYE Sensors do not store data in their memory. When data is collected devices immediately send records via Bluetooth to a tracker. However, in the near future data storage in Teltonika EYE Accessories memory might be possible.

We are looking for devices that can also transmit data to cloud - a device that does not need vehicle battery but has its own battery. This device must also support your beacons. So we can track multiple pieces.

How good is Eye sensor tranmitted through the cold chain truck wall? How thick is the wall, what is the wall material, metal??
