Waterloo was acquired by John Deere back in 1918, marking the company's entrance into the tractor and engine business. The one at the show was built in 1919. It is a Waterloo Boy Model N .
The yellow "Fordson Major" you briefly showed may have been the same Ebro 44 that was at the 3 Okefords Rally down in Dorset last month! I got lumbered to drink from the poisoned challis AKA judge the tractors. While the Ebro looked very nice it was a Allis Chalmers B with a factory fitted Perkins P3 that got the thumbs up, mainly because it was almost untouched, unlike the Ebro which had been restored.
Kelso looks great you did well on the Major tractor pulling are you coming to Gt Eccleston on. The 15 &16 that’s the home of tractor pulling now that’s where you’ll see some serious tractor pulling I spotted the new. Merlo it looks great The Waterloo Boy must be well over a 100 years old feeling 96%today another fantastic video Ollie
Hi Olly. Great tractor pull with the Major, that was awesome. Trying to convince the hubby to let me buy a Hoodie now and not wait until after summer. I hope things calm down a bit for you before harvest.
Hi Olly, I'm matt the sparky it was my birthday yesterday 44 I forgot to put my age, And I see why you might have been confused as I put well done for the combined run. All the best matt
Many thanks Olly , this video has made my day. Considering some of the vintage tractors were new (when I first started farming).. loved it , so many memories ... 80% now.
Good video again, some nice old tractor's there. Harvest is not to far away by the looks of your rape, barley's round here have really started turning these last few days. 90% today
thats not tractor pulling, the box of the sledge can be controlled from the cab so could be a different setting for every tractor, plus the sledge wheel brakes should only come on in an emergency.
Can't lie seeing you was pretty cool at kelsall 😮
Nice one again .....top-team. James fast asleep .....must be the fresh air .
Towd Major makes new uns look daft !😃
