I just love a good quality pair of scissors. Especially a shiny, heavy pair made of stainless. My wife is a barber so she knows all to well the importance of quality shears that can be sharpened for repeated usage. They are expensive. Especially considering that she is left handed and they don't produce as many of them. Her struggle of finding left hand anything is bad enough! 🇺🇸
Another great episode! My mom had Singer brand sewing scissors that had blades which could be removed from the handles like the first sewing scissors you showed. I never figured out why. If it was so the blades could be sharpened or if you could change the blade type. I'm guessing the latter but it brought back a nice memory. 😊
Scissors adaptability was mentioned. But there was no mention of Left-handed scissors. Without that adaptation, all the various uses of scissors is limited to right-handed individuals. While left-handed use of right-handed scissors is not impossible , it is often very uncomfortable and inefficient.
