When you buy or get given a gift in a gift bag just save the rope handles, they make great tails for toy mice. Most are already knotted at the ends & you get lovely colours especially at Christmas time. So keep hold of those gift bag rope handles, you could even make a spider toy & use a few of the rope handles as it's many legs..... 🍪pocket England.
Great Job! I couldn't figure out how to put the ears on AFTER I stuffed and sewed the body! Duhhhhh! Do it first. You are so smart! Thanks. I actually do dog rescue but am a co-founder for a networking group called WARM (Worthwhile Animal Rescue Mission) and we have fundraisers and wanted to make kitty toys. PLUS you mentioned giving some of the kitty toys to the animal shelters - which too is an AWESOME thing. Thank you!
Millstream Animal Shelter in Manchester England would love donations of these cat toys. Clayton Bridge, (off edge lane Droylsden) Manchester M40 1QT England. telephone no : 0161 683 4194 home made dog toys will also be gladly accepted with thanks. Anybody reading this who lives local to this shelter could just hand the home made toys in. For those who don't you could pop in the post if possible to the address above. This Animal Shelter is not government funded, it relies on public donations & fund raising events. Times are more difficult at present for all Animal Shelters with Coronavirus any help to the animals especially at this time will be most helpful. Thank you Blue FoX0903 for this great video. 🍪pocket England.
Thank you! For givin me a good and comfy video of your nice kitty toy. Easy to follow and make. Can you add in your comment under the videos what music you use? ;) Hugs from a fan i norway. :)
Yes it would work with felt crazygames, I have bought felt cat toys myself many times in the past. If you are going to use felt just make sure you sew the eyes & ears on well as my cat pulled them off in a short time of play. Keep safe & well 🍪pocket England.
Maybe that's true but it's the pleasure you get from making home made toys for your pets, then watching them play with them. You don't even have to waste money on the stuffing material, just use the inside of an old pillow, cotton wool, rags, rice or beans with catnip for extra crazy time play. She did explain on the video you could use a number of these things as stuffing. As long as it's safe for your cat & you sew it up well by hand or even on a sewing machine. Care must be taken to sew the eyes and ears on well as your cat can easily pull them off. I used a twisted piece of small twine for the mouses tail which was very sturdy. You can buy cat toys yet it's sometimes nice to make your own. 🍪pocket England. Keep well & safe ....

Great idea!
So easy to do! I made one using a calico print, added a bit of catnip ,& my cat is enjoying his new toy : ) Thanks for the tutorial!
You could also fill the toy with catnip or rice or beans. The rice or beans will make it tough to tear up

Not yet ...
Probably should since my dog would love a new toy!
Sew it. This is one project I would say no short cuts with glue. My cat will chew on things and the idea of him eating some glue = not so good.
i like your closet *_*
Great for ferrets too!!!!!
this is really good thanks this will save me alot of money :)
Cool video! Ty!
just making sure...when you attach the eyes, ears and tail-- you do so with needle/thread and not glue or anything of that sort, right?
You shoud not use cause if the cat swallows glue ir will surely die
Very cute I will make these, but with a sewing machine. I don't have your patience lol
i made one of these and my cat loved it thanks :)
Oh, and a subscriber!
love this thank so much for making this video
How did you get the eyes ears and tail to stick on
She used felt, and then later sewed them on.
I wouldn't advice using any type of glue as it's Toxic to cats & dog's. Sew the ears & eyes on by hand or machine. 🍪pocket England.
it looks great!
I accidentally paused at 0:03..lol but thanks for the vid helped me a lot :)
i love the music
Cat's response wasnt good enough... Sad im confused sud i make this for my cat or not...
my kitten loves mice with rattles in them. what can i use to make it rattle?
you could put a little bell in the mouse before you sew it up, or you could somehow attach it to the tail of the mouse.
Or fill with rice or beans & a dash of catnip for crazy play..... 🍪pocket England. 🐱🐈🐱🐈
will felt work to?
crazygames it should

Hello I checked your channel out and subbed 2 support
oh...........not for nothing but with the five dollars she wasted on stuffing material she could have bought a descent cat toy -.-
