    I can see this video is quite old but hey i just bought a second hand version (2009) a its a hoot to ride . A little more weight on the wrists than my 690 duke but great fun anyway..

    • @thorstenkochling4750
      @thorstenkochling4750 2 года назад

      Cool! Do you still like it? I have a 690 Duke and am considering this as my next bike. I was wondering if the power difference is a lot.

    • @skinnydipper3493
      @skinnydipper3493 2 года назад +2

      @@thorstenkochling4750 the power difference is very noticeable. The Honda is a fair bit heavier but on the road feels well planted and very stable. Mine has michelin pilot road5 rear tyre and pirelli rosso4 front which match up well for me. I am not a big guy (5'8") and am very comfortable on the honda. Definitely a keeper for me. Cheers.

      @@skinnydipper3493 Thank you for your reply! That is interesting information, I will definitely consider. I imagine the Duke feels like a bicycle in comparison, it is so light and agile. But now I am tempted even more to get my hands on a CB1000R. :) All the best and safe rides!

    This is not the Hornet, this is the Predator. Totally different bike.

    • @pacovl46
      @pacovl46 8 лет назад +5

      where is it called Predator? In Germany it's called CB1000R and my guess is, it's the same in the rest of Europe.

    • @WheatMillington
      @WheatMillington 8 лет назад

      Don't know exactly. It's called the Predator in NZ and Australia at least, couldn't say where else.

    • @pacovl46
      @pacovl46 8 лет назад

      +Chris Doms well, another thing learned. It surprises me a bit that the bike doesn't have the same name everywhere in the world. I'm wondering what the reasoning behind it is.

    • @WheatMillington
      @WheatMillington 8 лет назад +1

      It's pretty common, but moreso with cars than bikes. But there's the MT-series, which is known as the FZ-series in the States, for example.

    • @pacovl46
      @pacovl46 8 лет назад

      +Chris Doms I see. I think it's stupid, though.

    wel there is the ducati streetfighter 848 and the 1098

  • @Stuntman175
    @Stuntman175 12 лет назад +1

    These are not streetfighters, these are just naked bikes. Streetfighters are motorcycles that are customized in that style, usually being sportbikes with no fairings, dirt bike bars, loud exhausts and more power. There is no such thing as a factory streetfighter. Streetfighters are built, not bought.

    Doesn't put out supersport power? It puts out more power than all the 600cc supersports. They should have said doesn't put out supersport literbike power.

    • @Clint_the_Audio-Photo_Guy
      @Clint_the_Audio-Photo_Guy 9 лет назад +1

      JortsRider He said "Superbike" power numbers. Superbikes are the liter-class bikes. Supersport are the 600cc machines.

      Photo314159 Subtle difference, I missed that, you're right!

    • @greenmarine5
      @greenmarine5 9 лет назад

      +JortsRider but still it barley puts out enough to beat most 600cc supersports  Most 600's put out between 97 to 113 depending on brand.  Most superbikes putout between 130 to 200 depending on brand and model.

      If you're done editing all your comments, lol. Want an upright riding position with all the power? Get a Yamaha FZ-1, a Suzuki GSX-S1000, or a Kawi Ninja 1000. They'll actually feel like they have MORE power on the road than the Superbikes that don't make their power until you're over 10,000 rpm. I bought the FZ-1 and it's a land missile over 7K rpm. The other two pull better at lower rpms. Had the Suzuki been out a year earlier, I probably would have bought it instead. It's got the famous long stroke GSXR motor in it and is under rated in the specs. And btw, I know Honda has the reliability reputation, but I read a report that took reported repairs of all the major makes, and Yamaha came out as #1 having the least issues, followed by Honda. Ducati and BMW were last with Suzuki and Kawi pretty close to Honda.

    • @ryangordon3798
      @ryangordon3798 8 лет назад +1

      Yeah the Suzuki GSX-S1000 is damn fine bike and makes more hp than what they claim, the FZ1 is an awesome bike as well, are you planning on doing the FZ1N conversion kit on it or change the gearing at all? I saw the report you did Yamaha being the most reliable followed by Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda as the 4 most reliable motorcycles
