this bike is anything but aggressive - try out some of the other nakeds - triple for example or try out a sbk this one really comfy, managable and acceleration is smooth - can't do much wrong with it it really depends on what you are used to or what you've tried out before - don't measure it by experiences with a transalp
Hi Matt, the CB1000R is not a bike to compare to the VFR.... totally different... and suit different people wanting different things... I've owned the VFR and now have the CB. And there is no fairing protection because it is intended to be that way... naked and minimal.. but I did like you description "Ricky Hatton" because it is an aggressive bike but less so than other bikes (e.g. FZ1-N I have also owned).
Matt,i think the problem is your age and not the bike. Soon you will say that a Piaggio Vespa 50cc is better for you. Its the best bike for me and i totaly dissasgree with m8!
