I can’t wait to board this ship. I got one of the last splash of romance packages and a 2pm boarding time, so I plan on lining up all the reservations as soon as we board, if I can’t book them 45 days out!!!

It's a silly reason, but I love the decor of Razzle Dazzle because the history is so cool. I actually have a Razzle Dazzle ship T-shirt that I'll be wearing there on my upcoming cruise.

@@freshlysqueezedtravels thank you. I’m nearly all packed. Doing carryon for the first time for a cruise. Hope to share as much as I can. I have been cruising on Princess since the restart so I have a lot of Princess folks wanting to know how I like VV.
I have a different opinion about the food and I’ve never cruised with Virgin Voyages. Just kidding. I will be cruising with them in early 2024. Great video and have a great day.

Definitely Pink Agave, The Dock, and Razzle Dazzle exactly for the unique options! I liked the test kitchen, but I'm into trying new things. The friend I traveled with did not enjoy. When leaving The Dock, be sure to grab yourself some prosciutto and cheese boxes from the refrigerated case inside. Perfect late night snacks 😉

awesome video i really enjoyed it :) although i was surprised that tom ranked pink argave higher than he ranked his favourite restaurant extra virgin. does that mean that he has a new favorite ?? hehe

Thanks for the video. My personal fave is The Dock -- especially the greek happy hour bites -- followed by Pink Agave and Razzle Dassle. I am not a fan of Gunbae.I've eaten and drunk at Korean BBQ places before and yeah, I don't need to do it again on Scarlet Lady. Test kitchen is nice, but I think it scares some people who want "normal" food and disspoints people looking for that hardcore foodie experience. I'd do it again though!

Nice to see tom back 👍. Gives different look at things. So overall u say a 4 for everything about? My mom and dad went the carivals new ship said food was not as good as other carinval ships they been on said elevator where annoying. The did get see new royal Caribbean winder of the sea in port
I think the overall quality of food is better than the free stuff on other lines. It’s quite good. Glad you liked seeing Tom. 🚢 He’s been a great sport. 😊thanks for watching!!
Did you have the original or the new dinner menu at Razzle Dazzle? I can't say that I agree with all your ratings, but then my cruise partner and I don't agree either. We've notices some changes in food quality on our more recent cruises. Hope this returns to the level of our first VV cruise. In Extra Virgin, we were seated in an interesting "nook" last time--very nice and out. of the main traffic. We find the "favorites" at Gunbae to be way too much food for us, so we've now learned what we like, and order just those items. We've had Korea.n BBQ in Asia--it is far better there than on VV. Test Kitchen is ...interesting. In our opinion, the A menu is much better than the B. Remember that if there is something you don't like or just want an alternative, you can always request the same course from the vegetarian menu. For instance, I substitute the mushroom for the gazpacho. The veg coconut chocolate cake is AMAZING, but very rich. I could go for that without the rest of the meal. I wish The Dock has more seats where you aren't practically sitting on the ground. We've gone to events there where we couldn't stay because we couldn't get a seat thet met my cruise partner's mobility needs. There are some bar stool type seats, but they fill very quickly. If you are going for an event rather than just munchies, get there early. The Pizza Place will customize provided they have the ingredients. In addition, on longer cruises, they offer a "special of the day" pizza.

@@kathryncashner3294 we had the original menu with the two secret menu items. A New York strip and butter chicken.

Just got off Scarlet Lady last week, I was disappointed in the lack of Gluten Free options. I had to eat a steak in 3 of the restaurants. They were good but too limited options. Gunbae had the best options for Keto/Carnivore.

I just got off a 5 day VV scarlet Lady cruise. The first two dining nights were horrible , not the food , but the noise from an adjacent table ! First was the Gunbae ( Koren) restaurant where the server promoted "shots" of liquor and boy did the guests partake. The constant shouting of GUNBAE ruined our dining experience. We were a group of six. The following night was at the Agave ( Mexican) restaurant where a DJ started playing latin music ( yes! a dj in a restaurant) and just our luck there was a group chanting loudly and continuously the lyrics of whatever the dj was playing. The server served "shots" as well and even offered them to our group. We passed. The following nights were much better , the best being the Test Kitchen dining. It was our first time on VV, might very well be our last. Don't get me wrong, I'm can be a party animal , but not in a restaurant..sorry. My 2c.
Good info! know pink agave goes onto nightclub mode around 9 pm. It’s always been pretty mellow when we were there. We will try Test Kitchen next time. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! 😊
@@freshlysqueezedtravels TY. So the Test Kitchen was a six course meal with every course explained . Small portions at a time and well worth the experience. Unfortunately we could not book Agave earlier than our dining time so maybe next time we will before the 9pm dj arrival
