@@helenakurcewiczowna6695 Don't shaut on him, if he is from US, he is truly amazed by our trains and services onboard. They have trains literaly like we had in 90' - slow, dirty, with not working light or heating etc.

Helena Kurcewiczówna What? That's absolute nonsense! ....and also rather abrupt. It was meant as a compliment. I have no preconceived thoughts on Polish food. I'm from the UK, where railway/train food is generally atrocious and hardly, if ever, prepared fresh. Stop being so confrontational. You've just reminded me why I hardly ever post comments on RUclips.

Helena Kurcewiczówna Didn't you understand a word? He said they chose a train believing that the dining car would offer full food service. When they went to the dining care they were surprised because it looked like sandwiches were available, until the hostess brought them menus. Watch and LISTEN.

Maciej Szymanski "I pay less, and I live longer."
That was actually what he said. Over the years it's been written differently in different books, but those were the original words.
What he actually meant by that, is he got to experience the people on the train, the food, the country that he was travelling through, and the general experience, for that much longer - whilst at the same time not paying as much for his ticket.
      Great words to live by.

So much better than what I experienced on one of my few trips on an American train (I'm American by the way.) Took a train from Seattle to Portland and made the mistake of ordering food. I ordered a burger and I swear it was microwaved in a plastic pouch! Bun and all! Probably the single worst thing I have ever eaten next to a pizza in Mexico. I don't get it. They have great food in Seattle and Portland. Why is it so hard to get it on a train? I'd settle for a decent sandwich.

Damn, that’s a really nice AirBnB, a definite shag pad for sure. Also, that train food looked amazing. Back in the day before I moved to Kansas City I used to take the Amtrak Missouri River Runner from St Louis to KC and they definitely didn’t have food like that. Was that train part of the Eurorail pass system, where if you bought a rail pass in London or somewhere west it can take you to that same line that took you to this destination in Poland?

Ghost _In_The_City I truly doubt it as I’ve never even heard of such thing as Eurorail pass system. The trains here are generally reasonably priced(depends on the train) anyway so it’s not a problem to get around Poland.

Poland always seems to look extremely clean and safe. I've noticed this.

You guys been along time in Poland, is it the food, the people, the locations, or the vodka.

Vodka and people, most probably. This is how I remember my Polish friends, well the place part is also important, but it was never a stepping stone to choose one together.

Because polish people know their pork chops. It's national dish :)

This is true. The pork chop is of terrible quality on the train. Chicken breast is even worse. It's like a stone and dry.

I enjoy the vlog. I really enjoy how the guy always talks over the lady. Almost every vlog. Too much coffee? Didn't get enough attention as a kid? Not sure yet... Should definitely let the lady speak more.

Nice 2 c airbnb playing their special part in Poland putting rents up. A few years bk rent in cities like poznań Wrocław were lower ,, but they've been going up and up helped along by people who have bought apartments for no other reason than to rent out at the equivalent of a full days wage for a person on minimum wages...this is becoming quite a spinner in Poland as it has been in places like London etc. well done airbnb and we'll done you two for supporting them.
Airbnb is a scourge and is slowly being denied service across Europe - responsible tourism means dumping airbnb and using hotels or guest houses , that way apartments set aside for airbnb use ( which brings in at least double the income of an equivalent long term rent ) are released for locals who can only afford normal local rents.

Not to mention bad attitude from owners when transfers and negotiating new cities causes delays. Never again. Hotel/motels for me.
