Keep in mind my parents leave for work at around seven and depend on me to walk myself to school (Which is only a block away) and following that, they also get emails from the school if I miss it (so I never attempt to just not go) so I obviously got out, ringed out my hair, put my previous clothes on as usual, and then went to my bed stand and checked what the time was. It was 12:05 PM. I had been sleeping in the shower for over 5 hours. And yes, I was very pruned. My mom called me an hour later asking why I missed school, I told her the reason, and she said, "I’m letting you pass because I’ve done that more than once and grandma was unhappy. I remember how much innocence id felt. So you’re off the hook.". So yeah, free day off of school and my mom told the school principal and the excused the absence.
