Psychodrama is probably the best album ever made, but I still think this album has a lot of improvements over psychodrama. Dave just keeps levelling up📈
First off absolutely love watching you react Jon it’s truly a blessing to watch you react to something like this, when you listen to something this good & it moves you so much it’s lovely to see. secondly we all as fans of Dave and rap music need to appreciate just how special this young man is, 23 and he’s this tuned in to the world around him what’s going on in the world & just how great of an ear he has for music. He’s by far the best rapper lyricist & storyteller this country has ever seen going across all genres of music not just rap and one of if not the best rapper out there in the world, that’s including everyone in America and I mean everyone it’s not close really in my opinion he’s just better than all of them. Nobody does it like Dave does. This album is a masterpiece and will win countless awards and be spoken about for years to come. 2 albums down in to his career and there both special special records. Cannot wait to see how far this young man can go moving forward it’s actually scary to think what he’s gonna be like in 5/10 years if he’s still making music. Fav tracks are - in the fire, heart attack, we’re all alone, survivors guilt & both sides of a smile.
The audacity of people saying this project is a drop off from the level of Psychodrama. People really don't want to see you achieve success beyond what they think you deserve in their minds! This is a classic album with about 3 cuts made for the mainstream and social settings.
Just a bit of advice for next time When taking in an album it’s important to listen to the pre released singles aswell. They can sound different and hit different when listened to in the context of an album. Even songs you don’t expect.

Both Sides of a Smile & Heart Attack take Dave onto to another level from any UK artist. He has gone from making amazing songs to making art. Album of the year for sure.
I'd love to see what Dave and Cole could put together. Both incredible lyricists.
When the album was announced the first thing I thought was I can't wait to watch your reaction to it. Your videos are always so personal and give a great insight and perspective into the music you are reacting to. This was one of your best and I just wanted to say thank you for providing such genuine and personal reactions , I always leave your video's with a new understanding and appreciation for the music you have reacted to.
Santan really topped Psychodrama. Man’s the definition av GOAT🐐🌪
for me, psychodrama >
@@aidanLVbeats I understand. I like the styrtelling part of psychodrama and all the classic bangers, but Dave showed improved skills on WAAITT imo. Psychodrama is probably the best album ever made, but I still think this album has a lot of improvements over psychodrama. Dave just keeps levelling up📈
Sorry chip"Dave" has a bigger calling than to respond to you-
This album is a classic
Dave is a phenom. However he’s not stupid enough to go at Chip. Chip is built different when it comes to sending.
Chip just pissed that Stormzy keeps sending indirects on features, cus Stormzy knows he can't go against Chip
How many genres do you properly listen to?
@@qwertyvypez a fair few
Rap
Grime
Rock
Indie/rock
Country
Some pop & a little bit of folk
Not listened to the album yet because I wanted to see your reaction. Was not disappointed, great video.
Bonus fact: if you listened to the album from its release at midnight, you would have listened to Twenty to One at exactly 12:40… levels 🤯🤯
Only if u skipped clash tho (which most people probably did)
Dave is comfortably the best artist in the uk he can do it all and he’s better then majority of the us artists !!
Will love to see a Dave x J Cole collab just imagine
Heart Attack is one of the best rap songs ever made
*songs
Absolutely
UK maybe, overall? I doubt it.
@@Smith89123 Not just UK
@@hmwh4t It's good but it's not even close to a Rap great.
Honestly listening to the album and then your reaction back to back is great, you picked up on many bars that flew over my head. Great reaction Jon
Catch a new meaning every time you listen, truly the highest form of art.
The audacity of people saying this project is a drop off from the level of Psychodrama. People really don't want to see you achieve success beyond what they think you deserve in their minds! This is a classic album with about 3 cuts made for the mainstream and social settings.
three rivers also brought me to tears, how he can tell stories so clearly but hidden in bars is outrageous 🤯
Yes please with the ghetts album reaction, it’s another masterpiece
Just a bit of advice for next time When taking in an album it’s important to listen to the pre released singles aswell. They can sound different and hit different when listened to in the context of an album. Even songs you don’t expect.
this WILL go down as album of the year and nothing is coming close.
You're a real one, i almost shed a tear listening to heart attack at the end..
Yes definately do the ghetts album. Amazing song with dave there.
Seems like you enjoy James blake and just wanted to say he just cameout with a new single you could check out
Coming back at the end of the year to watch this masterpiece of reaction
I’ve been saying Daves the next. This is just the cherry on top. Pure art. Literally no one new in America raps like this apart from the Kendrick and Cole’s
Bro just daves voice over the piano gives me goosebumps 🥶
31:45 Think this means Leslie was about his mum which I said at the time of psychodrama because in drama he says smthn like "broke the fourth wall and based leslie on my relatives"
That’s an insane catch if true and easily could still be but in Lesley it’s defo implied it’s her first baby but Dave has 2 older brothers
@@ziggythetortoise4237 isn’t it about domestic abuse against women in general?
The most intelligent music artist you’ll see in this day and age! The story telling is a whole never level
This album is sensational. Dave one ups himself yet again
How can one person possess so much talent…………. Honestly so glad I’ve witnessed this moment in history. The album is a masterpiece,
story telling 10/10
bars 10/10
production 10/10
Beats 10/10
Passion 20/10
Talent is off the charts @ 1000/10
This isn’t uk rap grime or drill this is art
it’d be an insult to call it grime or drill
