J A he paved the way for most of the new age melodic rap and discussing his own problems and mental health. Most of the best new age rappers like Travis Scott credit him as their number 1 influence
@@mt2188 That's a really good explanation. Thank you. I don't know about changing hop hop but it certainly seems like he 8nfluenced a big part of it. Maaaan when this album came out, I listened to it every single day for about 3 months straight. Something about listening to this whole album all the way through was almost like going on a trip. Maybe it's just me because I smoke heavy back then lol.
Yes you legend!I almost gave up on you doing a reaction to this.
Imagine being able to listen to this album for the first time again.
Cudi really saved my life. Now I’m not saying I wanted to vanish off the face of the earth, but at times I felt like I was walking alone and blinded folded in this painful, unforgiving, hell that we call earth. But in that darkness, his music and his words felt like he was reaching it and guiding me and those who also feel this similar lost feeling. He guided me to safety and I feel comfort listening to his music and I forever owe Scott my life and I wish I could tell him. Thank you for making this and just showing your audience the beauty of his music.
JD wears his shades at night so he can look into the abyss.
He sees something in nothingness if you could picture this
