So this is where the Sleep Token journey began for you Chase. Hooked right from the very beginning, and can i just point out how you recognized in just one single song that they felt "rock, metal, jazzy, bluesy, and pop"?!❤ How interesting, wonder what they do now..

@@xMRxZEROx see man I'm on the opposite side, I just recently got into Devin because I was going to see him and I fell in love with what I've heard! Sadly if haven't really found it in me to dive deeper into his catalog of music yet. I've heard maybe five songs total, but really enjoyed them. He's clearly EXTREMELY talented. I have been listening to sleep token since November of last year and have since heard every single song released by them. And while some tracks are "weaker" than others I truly mean it when it say all of them are at the very least great. Not good. Great. Let's play do this here in the comments if you're interested, give me a couple songs to listen to by Devin, and I'll give you a couple by Sleep Token! If you're down I'd love that!

So happy you “got” this music... Personally speaking, I can’t imagine a music connoisseur not adoring this band. Saw them live last December and it was a similar experience: Knew zero about them going in, and instantly became a fan. All of the above suggestions are great, (pretty much every single one of their songs is phenomenal), but no one has mentioned ‘Jaws’ yet, and I can pretty much guarantee you that one will utterly blow you away as well. Enjoy! 🔥🤘🔥

Normally i have to bother other reactors to check out Sleep Token, so it's wonderful to discover you the opposite way.
I guess i have to give you another band i love dearly. Caligula's Horse - Dream the Dead
I believe the lore of sleep token revolves around having anxiety and longing for peaceful sleep. The band has a gimmick but much of it all is just artistically painting raw emotion.
The song Higher by Sleep Token is usually very popular and gives you the full oomph.

Porcupine Tree's "Darkest Eyes" took me probably 25+ times hearing it before I felt like I could wrap my head around what they were doing and (mainly) why they were doing it. This would take more spins I think, and I'm not sure I'd ever be "comfortable" listening to it. This isn't "Oh I'll throw this on the drive home" music, I'd have to be in a very specific mood to seek this out. Yet's it's fascinating, too. Can't say I wasn't entertained.
