What is the Judas spirit? The Judas spirit is not widely known or talked about however is an important topic. Watch this video till the end to find out
One of the problems with seeing issues in others that we must be more mindful of is that what problems we see in others can be an indication it is our issue too. We see evidence of this with King David in 2 Samuel 12, when the prophet Nathan had to call him out on his sin that David only perceived in another.
It is easy for us, having Scripture, to criticize and have no mercy for Judas. Could that be an indication that we have some of his same tendencies? Are we also betraying Jesus and acting out with the spirit of Judas? Would you like to find out? Are you sure you want to know?
The spirit of Judas will always show up and if The spirit of Judas is not already there, then the spirit of Judas will try to get in your inner circle. It is NOT uncommon at all for the spirit of Judas to show up at your work place, among friends, church, or even you own household! The spirit of Judas wants to come up unexpectedly! The spirit of Judas always infiltrates your inner circle as someone there to "help you." If the spirit of Judas can't get in your inner circle, he will certainly try to get close to you through those that are
Here are some signs of The Judas spirit.
1. The spirit of Judas is greedy. Judas wanted the treasurers position so he could skim offerings!
2. Judas is a thief. The reason Judas wanted to sell the perfumed offered from Mary to Jesus was to have more money to steal!
3. Judas is jealous. jealous of other's position, influence, friends, acceptance, trust, etc...
4. Judas is the essence of betrayal! (Mark 14:10)
5. Judas will betray confidential or intimate knowledge about you to your enemies. you have to be VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU SHARE AND WITH WHOM!
6. Judas is underhanded and sneaky. He will show empathy, comfort, kindness, and generosity in order to get trust and access.
7. Judas acts like he is doing one thing when he is really doing something with a completely different motive. Almost always there is a cover up story to make it seem they are being a help to you.
8. Judas is discouraging towards the higher things of God like worship, giving, personal sacrifice, generosity, etc...
9. Judas is conspiratorial and will often enlist others in his plot - whether that be the pharisees, a spouse, church members, acquaintances or whoever else Judas can use to help with his dirty work!
