- Time for some Hard Rock/ Alternative Metal from Canada! The Veer Union and the song "Seasons" a band I have never heard of, it's always great to hear something new right? A Request from the mighty Rick! time to dive in and see what we got!
The Veer Union is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. They have released four studio albums, Time to Break the Spell, Against the Grain, Divide the Blackened Sky, and an EP Life Support Part 1. Their fourth studio album, Decade, was released on January 29, 2016

Shane, your kindness in putting up the request, fighting the fight against blocking and entertaining your fans is beyond words appreciated. This song got some attention when it was used for a WWE 2009 pay per view back in the day. I've always thought them same category as like a Breaking Benjamin, and they have a really well done version of Numb in tribute to Chester you can find in You Tube. Thanj you again Sir, you are truly the BEST!!!!
They evolve every album. Heavier and heavier… their last two albums are the best!!!!
These guys are great.
Seasons was the first song I heard from them and then they released a song called “defying gravity “later on which is awesome.
They also did a tool cover of the song eulogy which I think is awesome too. I recommend checking those songs out!
(Colossal points for the mention of Be Good Johnny by Men at Work - I LOVED that song way back when....my sophomore year of high school, darling!) At a quick glance, I thought this said VENEER...and the singer does seem to have pretty nice teeth. I had never heard of this band, either, but I was digging this...definitely want to explore more. And Little Miss Overthinker cannot overlook the clocktower setting of the video and Chester's statement that they have a song called Defying Gravity.... Hmmmmm.... I have seen the musical WICKED 26 times so this is suspect to me....coincidence or are they aficionados of theater???
I would recommend checking out Silent Gun, Buried in the ground, I will remain, Make believe, and Darker Side of me. All by The Veer Union!

Not a bad song. Very radio friendly hard rocking tune. That name sound familiar but I don’t remember ever hearing this jam though.
