If you don't have the money I can understand this, but if you can pay for a cargobob you can buy it in the online store through this little trick. Look it up on RUclips but I'm not sure if it still works with the recent update.
But- how on earth did you- EVERY time try to do this with a Maverick or more importantly, a Police Maverick (speaking of which, do you have ANY clue as to what makes it spawn? From experimenting with it, it seems to spawn on the police stations when there is nearby player activity. I think) my character just gets back out of the helicopter and walks into the garage. PLEASE! I beg you, how can I overcome this? I live at the Del Perro Heights apartment, would that be causing the problem? Thanks!
Does this work with the 400,000 apartment? Ive been trying and I can get to the part where when I get in it takes me out and then into the garage but cant seem to block the door.

You cannot get one during a mission unfortunately. You will have to find a level 20-30 and lure him to a airfield and then take the cargobob. Like I did. Then store the Cargobob in garrage and then use it to steal a take from military base and then put in your garage. :P

After you call the cargobob and the mechanic flies it into the sky, go to the store then exit and the cargobob will be nearby.
