Thanks for the great review. When I started watching these I can’t say I thought above it much but it has become the number 1 issue, if a product is not cruelty free I don’t want it. No more animals need to suffer for me to wear make up. It was fun. Well done. 🎉
Thanks so much for including cruelty free favorites. I only wear cruelty free makeup and so many of your options look gorgeous. In my early makeup days, I was never successful with cream blushes. You have just about convinced me to give them another try.
Same here Gemma, I LOVE a beautiful blush ( and bronzer too) but especially blush. I spent 15 years in the beauty industry and I love seeing someone who gets just as excited as I do about fabulous makeup and skincare. Thanks for all these wonderful suggestions ❤👏
Gemma your lashes look fantastic! I am super pale and desperately need blush. However, I have hated applying it in the last few years because I have slightly sunken areas with my dark circles that seem to extend to my cheekbone. If I apply blush too low, it brings my face down, but if I apply it higher, it seems to highlight my dark circle area. I’ve never worn highlighter for this reason and I do try to do a cheek contour, but I can’t seem to get the blush placement right consistently. I’m wondering if you could do a video on mature blush application addressing this issue even though you don’t have this issue? I used to slather on the blush when I was younger but it just isn’t working as of late.
Have you tried applying it underneath your eyes. I sometimes apply all the way up to the outer corner of my eyes to disguise the hollow. It gives a lifting affect without emphasising the under eye. Xxx
I recently bought Physicians Formula butter blush ( in Plum Rose) and have to say am very impressed. Not matte ,not luminous..but a stylish " glaze" finish. I love the Dior Rosy Glow as well...and put a little over the Rare Beauty Melting Blush in Nearly Mauve..( adorable packaging!) I ,like you love blush..and have dozens. Bronzer wise..agree on the Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzer and for my favourite powder Bronzer, my go to is the Vieve duo compact. I love how you get two shades , one cool , one warmer toned ,giving you great versatility. ( I have the lightest one) . I find them to blend seamlessly and have a very skin like finish..not completely matte. I also have a Vieve powder blusher which is divine! Thanks for your reviews ..really enjoy your honest advice.x
! Please please please! Do a tutorial on how you did your eyes in this video… I have been trying to get this beautiful look and just can’t catch the knack of it..Thank you for your videos each and everyone of them is so incredibly helpful and I have found that you have never steered me wrong and recommending products
I brought Nars Vallarta bronzer last year on the back of your review…I absolutely love it! The perfect shade as not too warm on my fair/light skin❤ Very very tempted to splurge on the Gucci blush-it is Christmas after all!🙈😂 Not sure which colour but rosy beige looks gorgeous! Thank you so much for your top reviews as always 😘
Thanks. I love the Guerlain multi colour bronzers - just finished mine 😭and at the other end of the price scale just finished the Boots natural collection blush, so looking for new ones. I may still treat myself to another Guerlain 😍.
Loved watching this video - you're eyes look stunning Gemma😍❤ I'm so glad you mentioned eye primer as other vloggers tend to miss this out. I usually use concealer and powder to set but lately its not working for me, so I'm on the hunt for one that would suit mature/sensitive eyes that won't overly emphase the crepiness too much!!!
Since you are a blush lover as I am (because of my yellow skin I started using it at 14 years and my mother lipstick) please, please try Valentino blushes. Yes, they are insanely expensive but I think they deserve it. I wish you and your dear family a Merry Christmas. (and Gemma you are my favourite youtuber. For me your videos with your witty and lovely sense of humor, really make my day)
Blush is my favorite too! Mine is an oldie but a goodie since I can't seem to find anything I love more than MAC's powder blush Peaches! Just bought my first bronzer ever in life (and first Chanel Beauty purchase ever) with the Chanel holiday set in 395. Hope I love it and am about to try it tomorrow. A bit scared for a cream product but have heard good things. Was definitely torn btwn Charlotte Tilbury though so if I don't like it, that's next! Oh also love the teint idole concealer by Lancome--my best of 2022 product for sure!
My favourite bronzer is the Nars same shade as you. I still love the Hourglass powder blush, recently bought the shade diffused heat but still prefer the luminous flush. I now would like to get my hands on that Milani one, I’m in the UK for Christmas, the quest is on!! Have a lovely Christmas Gemma x ❤
Hi Gemma, I am going to try the Milani Rose Powder blush. I have three of the Milani baked blush to go through first. I agree with you about the baked blush having too much glitter. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family. I love your channel and can't believe how long I've been a subscriber!
I agree that Gucci are the best blushers (Rosy beige is THE BEST). Victoria Beckham bronzer is my favourite, followed by Gucci bronzer as a second favourite. Like you, the CT is the best cream bronzer
Forgot to say, I did get the Revolution Cream Bronzer that you recommended and really like it! You only need a small amount. A great contour product for me! Only thing that's a pain is trying to open it with my dodgy hands! So I ended up breaking the catch.x
On forehead and chin try to first apply a light layer of bronzer and blend well. Then brush on a little of the blusher you are using on your cheeks that day. Work in circles. The result is more natural and healthy looking.
Great video. I am a little scared of using blushes but as I am getting older I think my skin needs a bit of colour. What formula would you recommend for a blush newbie?
Yay, I'm so glad you love the Rosy Beige shade in the Gucci blushers, it's a fantastic colour. I'm just going to name my faves, no categories though 😉 : Gucci blushers (cream to powder) VB and Givenchy bronzers (powders) Ellis Faas blush (creamy liquid) Elf face quad blush/highlighter/bronzers (cream) Rare Beauty blush (liquid) CT bronzer (cream) Armani neo blush (cream to powder) I'm sure I'm missing some but what the heck 😅😅 Love you sooooooooooo much 🎄🤍🎄🤍🎄🤍🎄🤍🎄🤍🎄
I own the Milani blush and I adoooore it! I’m surprised the Givenchy prism libre didn’t make it, but it must have been so hard for you to make your choices 😂
Well, I managed to be loyal to the end and watch the whole video, even though it was wasted on me!🤣 I have the grand sum of 2 blushers. One peach and one pink, bog standard cheap as chips!😜 Makes me smile how passionate you are about them!🥰
I cannot believe you own only 2 blushes 😲 Obviously this is only because I’m obsessed with blush…2 blushes, regardless of how inexpensive is totally acceptable….but I’m shook! 😂
I have that Milani blush and I love it! I’ve hit pan! Great video, as always. Hey, are you wearing false lashes? If so, what are they? I want to try wearing them, but as a beginner with deep-set hooded lids, I don’t know where to begin. Thanks! Happy Christmas 🎄, be blessed!
I’m surprised by your liquid blush favorite. I prefer Daniel Sandler. As for ELF , I don’t purchase made in China products. loved this video, love blushes. Wishing you and your family A beautiful Christmas and healthy New Year. Can’t wait for your next Mum video!
@@PamperedWolf I don’t consider China a cruelty free country. ELF products are ridiculously inexpensive , partly because of the low wages their workers receive. I prefer to purchase from companies with better track records. Human rights are as important as animal rights.
I love blushers and have 32 of them including a 10 pan palette of them I always used to use a powder in a pinky coral but after watching you I've realy expanded my collection and am so happy though it does take a while to choose one haha xx 💖 💕 ❤
I LOVE your channel so so much!! But I just wanna say that I am no longer buying 'Revolution' because they are ripping off smaller indie brands that are amazing (IMHO) .. just want to put it out there!!!
I completely understand, and I honestly agree with a lot of what you’ve said (I truly do), however, Revolution has been ripping off brands since it was introduced to market. It’s what they’ve built their brand on. They have always copied Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Benefit etc, so this isn’t a new thing. I find it odd that people think that ripping off larger companies is ok, but it’s somehow unjust when they do the same to an indie brand. Surely the crime is the same? By the way, I just want to reiterate that I do agree with you. X
Thanks for the great review. When I started watching these I can’t say I thought above it much but it has become the number 1 issue, if a product is not cruelty free I don’t want it. No more animals need to suffer for me to wear make up. It was fun. Well done. 🎉

Merry Christmas Gemma, I'm looking forward to your 2023 videos. 🎄🎄🎄
