I'm loving those old mech bells, all the railroad crossings where I live in SW Mississippi in the US use Safetran electronic bells which they're starting to grow on me but I prefer classic bells.
Looks like they've painted over the old peeling white paint on this crossing. That's one change :) The new camera's nice. But I miss seeing it on 720p50p Makes the video smoother. :)
Didn't notice this was a 4K Ultra HD video. How'd I miss that? I got a crossing suggestion, well two. One at Wingello in the Southern Highlands. and whenether you're visiting the North Coast of NSW. Wauchope at Carrington Street on the Oxley HWY. (y) Up to you of course.
I was wondering the same thing at the time. He did cross illegally but I'm not sure if he was totally blind, maybe just partially blind. Either way it's not a smart thing to do!

Thanks!
2:01 Now i see why those pedestrian gates are so rare! They should at least have an electromagnetic lock on the end!
Sadly a lock on the gate wouldn't stop people from going underneath. Mostly they replace these gates because they're easily damaged.
Unlike those newer ones
They are old semaphore signals, apparently
Unique sound
Nice vid and catch!
Thank you!
Great video!
Thanks!
Great video! Interesting equipment with the pedestrian gate arms unfortunately a total idiot at 2:02 decided it was safer to lift the arm up!
Thanks!

Thanks. Not sure if I'll record in 4K all the time. The camera also does HD so will probably try that for the next crossing.

I do intend to film Wingello in the future, I may film Wauchope at some point but not sure when I'll be up that way next.
2:01 Idiot, but it's great to see that the crossing is otherwise unchanged.
Yes it's nice to see the older equipment surviving. Hopefully it will still be there in another 2 years so I can film it again!
He could of found his way to death.
Railway crossings are there for a reason why do some people think it is illegal crap ?
