RIP James Honeyman Scott - I had just graduated from high school when he died. Those first two Pretenders albums were incredible and I must have listened to them both 1000 times each. He was such an incredible musician. When I listen to those albums they take me back in time to being a teenager...
I've seen some interview tapes of the band when they first started and in two of them, he sits down at a piano and starts playing ... very well. Which led me to do a little research and discover what an accomplished musician he was.
It sounds like the churchyard is next to a very busy road. Thank you for showing us where he is. Maybe one day I will make it to his and Pete’s graves.
The church is by the A49, a main road between Hereford and Leominster. Pete Farndon’s grave is about 20 minutes away from here off the Worcester Road in Withington.
