    All internal martial arts are based on the highest law in physics which is the law of conservation of energy. According to the conservation of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed but energy can only be transferred or transformed. Tai Chi is about being energy efficient by using the whole body with the mind. Using your whole body conserves energy and be energy efficient.
    When a batter swings his bat, the power comes from the rotation of the hip and not just the upper body.
    Momentum is mass times velocity.
    Even with small velocity, you could create big momentum with big mass (or whole body).
    Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

      Yes. I like that idea. I dislike mumbo jumbo and try to promote clarity. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Should the nose always be aligned in the direction of the dan tien? in everyday life?😢

    • @InternalTaiChi
      @InternalTaiChi  Год назад +4

      That is an excellent question. Allow me to clarify. When you are reaching, picking up items, turning, it is best to keep your nose over your Dan Tian to protect your spine. If you practice Tai Chi regularly, it will become a subtle but important habit. For instance, when my puppy starts to play tug of war with me, my spine remains aligned and I do not twist. If I allowed him to twist my spine, I would very likely injure my low back. I'm not suggesting we move around like robots. However, the more we can keep our body connected in our movements, the more joint integrity and longevity, we will enjoy. We will also have more effortless strength in our movements.
      In the next video I plan on showing how to use body alignment and body connectedness to pick up a heavy item off of the floor.

    I sadly have a hard time learning, so when other name's for a movements in tai chi or an unfamiliar term or even learning to move differently is very difficult.
    You are a good teacher , i am not a good learner, patients?

    • @InternalTaiChi
      @InternalTaiChi  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for saying I am a good teacher. Don't shortchange yourself. All of the fancy words do not really have importance. It is what you feel and what changes you make that are important. Be patient, enjoy the process rather than push the process. Little by little you will start to feel changes.

    It isn't using shoulder joint, how it is whole body movement

    • @InternalTaiChi
      @InternalTaiChi  Год назад +1

      Allow me to clarify..it's a good question! What I mean to impart is the body moves as a whole, not individual parts. So the shoulder remains aligned with the hips. As you rotate trunk the shoulders remain fixed, carrying the arms with the trunk but not swinging away from the trunk (like swatting would be separating the arm/shoulder away from the trunk). The goal is to rotate everything as one.
      In one of the examples, my arm gets away from my shoulder a bit. That's incorrect. The shoulder remains fairly fixed and in alignment with the hips. Rotate the trunk and you'll get power. I hope this helps. Thanks for the great question!
