Hello Susan. I'm been watching your video a few days late! I wish to thank you for your inner feelings and thoughts. You are a very gifted lady and you do make a difference to your followers. I connect with you in all that your experiencing. Having an inner feeling of calmness with such strong positive energy can feel overwhelming at first but what a beautiful gift to have and to be able to connect and pass on to others. Only yesterday I was out hill walking and I stopped to meditate for a short while believing I was the only person for miles on top of this hill. When I opened my eyes to gaze at the surounding scenary I was not expecting to see what was around me. There must of been around 12 walkers standing, just looking at me. They explained that they felt the need to walk towards an energy as if it was pulling them towards my direction. That is the power and positive energy force you are feeling it may take time for you to except you have it and as I said at the beginning of my rant! You are gifted and have been given this gift so please carry on giving and sharing with others. Thank you and bless you, take care. Julie 🙏💜

Julie, I woke up early this morning. Grabbed my coffee and bleary eyed and groggy, made my way to my computer to begin tackling my long list of "to do's" for today. That is when I discovered, this...your wonderful, heartfelt and uplifting comment. My goodness how you changed the start of my day from a mundane one to one filled with inspiration and motivation! Thank you so much for your powerful positive feedback and for taking the time to post your thoughts and that lovely experience. Your encouragement came at exactly the right time with exactly the right words. Bless YOU!
Those 12 walkers felt your energy and were drawn to you for good reason.
Hugs from Texas: 104 degrees today - 40 degrees celcius..and no hills for "hill walking". lol but lots of common energy between us.

Appreciate your thoughts Susan. The best description is Self, which is the Silence we feel sometimes, the great peace. Ramana Maharshi , Nisagardatta and lots of others have put it beautifully into words. There's no need to want to help as Love just surrounds the practitioner and touches all about. Once one tries it becomes something else. I started out in the Christian church at a young age but was not happy with the depth of teachings so started meditating and practising the 'sets of eight" breathing exercises and Hatha Yoga. I had profound spiritual experiences for many years then met my Master, Suma Ching Hai who taught me light and sound meditation as well as requiring one to be vegan. That was 30 years ago, I'm 70 now and the life I lead is wonderful, peacefull, fearless, loving and I do nothing to facilitate these wonders but remain still. I see some great people see this life as the Self seeing Self through minds which is a very profound thought indeed. Keep on!!

    Dear Suzan.
For me, starting Tai Chi was somehow a step on my spiritual path.
I had been on my spiritual path for years and I really have no explanation why I started Tai Chi one day. I can only say that at that moment in my life it felt like the right step.
On my spiritual path I discovered that it is a very important step to find out who you are at your core. I don't mean discovering your own positive and negative qualities, but finding out who you are as a person, or just as a being, at your core. I think it is called self-awareness in English. And you do that through internalization. Whoever knows himself, also knows the other and will know God too. Then I understood that you have to share yourself. In my opinion, this also happened during creation. God realized himself and felt this immense love within himself and the unstoppable urge to share it.
In order to be happy yourself, you have to share yourself, your joy, your compassion with other people. Ultimately, it expresses itself in an understanding, simple life. Of course that is just my opinion, but in fact I experience it that way too.
    Thanks for your wise words.

Thank you for sharing your discoveries and thoughts. I like the thoughts on God's desire to create out of love, and the desire to share...the unstoppable urge to share. I think we are too often told that we should not share, that sharing is a boundary issue, or a sign of weakness. Sharing and creating are one of the reasons we are here on earth! By sharing we weave a net of connectivity among beings. Tai Chi helps us to take off layers and excavate our true self. Thanks for watching, commenting and .....eh hem...sharing :-) your thoughts and heart.

Thanks for sharing this. As you say, tai chi is so much more than doing movements. I started watching this doing Zhan Zhaung (standing form) and smiled when you mentioned about standing. I had been doing a “loving kindness “ meditation just before - a practice to develop connection with oneself and others (I always find it helpful, whether I’m feeling more open or more cut off).
I started with aikido years ago and then took up tai chi, then qigong and more recently neigong, and it’s been, broadly, a journey of connecting with others, of balance & flow to integration- a journey inwards in some respects, though paradoxically perhaps, without separating “self” from “others”.
There is definitely that journey from being focused on external stuff, being driven by external things such as praise & blame, towards more of an internal, non judging calmness.
Several weeks ago, I was sat mediating with some other people and had a deep awareness of being one: self, others, the sounds of things around, all as one, without separation. It was a wonderful feeling of joy, release and peace.
Love your videos, thank you for sharing.

There are no coincidences! Really great that you were doing standing meditation at the very moment I mentioned it. I love the description of your internal work. Thank you for taking the time to share it with me and my followers. Perhaps being connected with others in such a joyful way is truly the purpose of life. Realizing that we are all connected not on just a cognitive level, but actually feeling it within your very bones. I appreciate your positive comments and thank you for watching my videos.

Susan, thank you for sharing your reflection on the purpose of life with us. I am a fellow believer of the God whom the Bible introduced to the world and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am going to share with my Christian friends who is asking me about the purpose of life.
I think that the purpose of life is to make the choice of embracing or rejecting the purpose of God in creating the heavens and the earth and the entities in them. His purpose is such that there will be no sin and suffering eventually and eternally. The indwelling Holy Spirit is the down payment of our Heavenly Father to those who are embracing His living purpose of Creation. From external to internal to get ready to add external back?

    • @InternalTaiChi
      @InternalTaiChi  6 месяцев назад

Beautiful thoughts. Yes, perhaps once we release the external and come back to the Holy Spirit in our purest form, then the external flows back to us in the exact design and experience we are supposed to have.

Sometimes I laugh out loud all by myself at what seems to me the biggest cosmical joke ever 😅
When we change our perspective from external to internal, everything suddenly makes sense and becomes quite obvious.
We search, and search, and search through hundreds of lifetimes for something that has been with us all along.
It reminds me of my mom looking everywhere for her reading glasses, while they where on top of her head! 😂😂😂
That is us humans looking for Enlightenment 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Meanwhile, realisation is simply the recognition deep within ourselves that everything is generated from within, it is all our own energy.
For me the most beautiful part of the journey so far was understanding that the "only" thing required after this is to Surrender.
To tell to our soul: "I, the human, am ready to let go of control and let you take the wheel. I trust you and will allow you to guide me. You have my permission."
After I said it, and it came from deep inside my heart, my energy started flowing fast, and in completely different patterns inside my body, for many hours in a row.
A sharp clarity has been with me eversince.
And with it I just realised the missing piece of the puzzle:
There is no bigger principle than the one of Free Will. Our own soul cannot interfere without our human consent. It simply can't. So it waits patiently until we proclaim the magical words.
And life suddenly becomes so light and playful when the Master takes over 🥰
I wish you a wonderful experience into your Realisation! 🐛❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍🦋
    Sending all my love! 🌼🌼🌼

I am reminded of the Gospel of Thomas where it say Jesus' followers asked him if circumcision was necessary and he replied if it were necessary the father would beget you that way rather the circumcision of the spirit has become completely profitable (beneficial). The circumcision of spirit as I understand it is to cut away the worldly emotions produced by relating ourselves in our mind to pleasure and pain. Instead stay in the center with the spiritual emotions of peace, happiness, love, joy, and spiritual ecstacy. Actually Jesus crucifixion was not only a historical event but also a very deep living symbol. In the scene Jesus is crucified in between 2 thieves. The two thieves are pleasure and pain and they steal from the spirit.

Interesting topic. Christianity these days makes me cringe. While it sounds good in theory at least the new testament version, the way it is practiced today makes me ill. I guess that's why I don't like labels. After growing up in that religion, I'm finally free of it and have never been more at peace. I don't want to be a part of something that is used to justify basically anything done to others. I see internal/external related with layers. While at first you may do an external act or practice just for the physical benefits such as flexibility or strength, if circle back to it again after internal work, you find it has internal aspects to it or helps develop internal awareness or growth too. External things as far as physical possessions like a car or house are just things that you should not be so attached too. Family, friends, or my children are something that I have strong attachments too. Purpose in life? To find joy and bring it to others and serve/help others before yourself. Spiritual purpose? Live as God/Creator/Holy Spirit guides you. You don't need a religion for that just be aware and listen/follow. Thank you for your channel!
