WHO IS THAT LEAD VOCALIST!
WELL DONE!
Jimmy Page has a Japanese twin brother !!! This sounds incredible. Great stuff.
I saw them open for Peter Frampton at the Concord Pavilion. Sounded just like the album. Closest I will ever come to seeing the real deal. Thank god for Jason keeping the music alive and kicking.
Saw the same show..
Freaking Great!
I was there too! Great band
This is how old the pavilion is. I saw Journey and Gama first album after Hagar let Montrose band. There at the pavilion it was hot. Great show
Mr jimmy, the guitarist, is awesome! Very nice person, too!!
Jimmy Sakura is badass
Have you met him?
I would have liked to see the harmonicist play…
I’ve always been fascinated by the harmonica on this recording. I’d like to see whoever is playing it here.
Sonny Boy Williamson but i’m not sure if it’s the regular or the III
It is played on a b flat harp.
Same...I can't see anyone playing. Sampled maybe?
It was either a tape or someone off stage.
@@NealR2000 Or maybe the keyboard. He was clearly of lower status off at the side!
I am certain that John would be hugely proud of Jason. You can tell he has really studied his father's playing and emulates it perfectly. I never thought I would see a Japanese version of Jimmy Page. This guy is really good.
They nicked him from Led Zepagain .
Mr. Jimmy Sakurai is a fantastic student of Jimmy page’s style and a great player. There is a cool video taken when he is performing in a small club in Japan, with the real Jimmy page in the audience😮 talk about pressure. But he did great and Jimmy was noticeably impressed.
Thank you for your great comment! When I was at this Show filming When the Levee Breaks, I couldn't believe my own ears. I actually thought it was the 70's all over again! What a phenomenal band that Jason put together with Incredible musicians.🎸🎼🍻
@@JU5TINPDX 😎😯😎
Love it!
I have met Jason. He's very nice and humble. Deserves all the success that he's worked hard to achieve. I have to give props to the camera work here. Stable and not jerky. Thank you for that.
Jason seems like his dad. Approachable, even-keeled and, of course, a helluva drummer.
His dad was a pig of a man. Violent and drunken rapist!
Jason the drum fill leading into the last verse, as the Diamond chord rings on the 12 string.
Killer & Tasty
You’ve lived longer than you Pops.
Definitely playing the drums well Fine Sir:)
(Precious)
Nailed it! I thought guitarist was Page until I put my glasses on.
Sing it brother! Damn.
Dr.Jimmy and mr.J B have worked hard to be the best and they deserve the big time to play the 02 call it Celebration Day 2
I'm impressed. And as a teenager who listened to the original multiple times & waking up Zeppelin before heading to school... these are pretty good I must say.👍
Thank you for your comment! I am also a teenager from the 70s and idolized these rock legends! I really didn't know what to expect when I went to see Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience at the Hard Rock in A.C when I filmed this. Needless to say they blew the roof off and emptied the tank! A gift for the ears and soul! 🎸🎼🍻
I didn't realize that Mr. Jimmy played with Jason.
He didn't, guitar player only looks similar to Page
Michael Gill Mr Jimmy is a Japanese guitarist who played a lot of Zeppelin music
@@michaelgill6675 I knew the guy wasn't THE MASTER due to age and he is much taller but mannerisms, facial expressions and aesthetically looked like Jimmy Page from the camera angle...about 1/2 way through could tell that guy is asian...which is really cool as well...none of those guys are "young chaps" themselves.... Initially, I thought maybe that was Jimmy page's kid... I also initially thought that was Bonham belting the lyrics but quickly realized he is 1) too young and 2) too slender & tall... I guess due to being bald headed had my mind race there.... I "grew up" in the 70s & early 80s....what a time to be a kid in America
MR JIMMY looks bored. He better when he the headliner. Better than this White Toast ZEP. Not really HEAVY, so what's the point?
@@cornucopiaofcool2144 yeah I think Jason wont let Mr Jimmy wear all the Page garb like he does in his own band. He has his impersonation down.
Wonderful drum sound, excellent musicians doing what they need to do to give props to some of the greatest rock music ever. Fkn heavy!
Love this, Jason playing the drums. He had a good teacher his late father John Bonham
I can’t believe it. This sounds exactly like the recording.
Yes, I thought the same when I saw them perform. Thanks for your comment!
Perfect.
Yeah, it does sound like the original recording. Saw them in Bakersfield. Excellent show. Glad I got to experience the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience. Well worth the ticket.
Good vocalist good band👌
A great technician but the huge difference between him and Bonzo is that the drumming on all Led Zeppelin music was created by him, not just a technically good copy.. I think Bonzo would have told him to find his own style and create his own music.
I appreciate your comments. Rock on🎸🎼🍻
Brilliant, a cover band covering a cover band.😅 👍🏻
I was Very blessed to see John ( dad ) live back in 1972 . I must say that it is good to see Jason carrying on the Sound of his father ( Led Zeppelin) regards Ted In New Zealand now . Ex London .
I'm glad the singer didn't try to look like Robert Plant, big blonde wig etc.
To be more authentic, the bass player should give the singer his hair.
Great job by Jason, but it just has to be hard to try to live up to his dad's image!! I praise him for that!! I'm a drummer and John Bonham was and still is my favorite all time drummer!!
Well said!
Jason is a great Drummer he don’t have to prove anything
@@jimmysapien9961 My comment was well said, end of conversation!!!!
John Bonham must be of his son. Jason superman!!!
THE LATE GREAT JOHN (Bonzo) BONHAM WAS A SELF taut DRUMMER AND WHEN his SON JASON BONHAM WAS VERY YOUNG JOHN BONHAM taut him HOW TO PLAY DRUM'S AND NOW HE is A VERY GOOD DRUMMER 🥁 AND WHEN LED ZEPPELIN WERE HONERED in THE KENNEDY CENTRE HEART THE BAND SANG Stairway TO HEAVEN AND JASON BONHAM WAS THE DRUMMER 🥁
Saw these boys in Tampa and even knowing what to expect, I was immensely pleased with their performance. Would see again, for sure.
My #1 Zep song hands down. Love this. How many of you know that this song was was written and recorded by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy in 1929?
I knew that but the song sounds completely different when zeppelin recorded their version. Another of zeppelins. Songs were re makes from Memphis blues artists . But zeppelin improved them all.
@@MrOhgodnow yes they improved them all
Really !???? 😮😮😮
Out of curiosity I'veI wondered if John Bonham was still alive if he was to switch to DW drums
Great performance. Who is playing harmonica?
I belive its Alex Howland on keyboards.
@@thebossfanman4900 OK. But there's a bit towards the end where he is playing guitar and there is still harp. Maybe it's an offstage roadie. He/she should be onstage and get credit. Doesn't take away from a terrific show. Thanks for posting. 🖖
Alex is awesome but he's not playing harmonica. Pretty sure its recorded. Seen this show in boston every year since they started and caught them in Rochester NY this past April. Such a great show.
@@ddmbos it turns out it's Gary Hood on harmonica. He also runs the sound board.
@@ddmbos ruclips.net/video/qE1I_xCC_d4/видео.html
Sound was a bit fusty at the beginning. Like heavier in the left channel than the right. Who is slaying that gorgeous harmonica/blues harp? Seems to be hiding somewhere offstage?
It's actually the stage manager that likes to stay out of sight, and I agree, pretty impressive.
Awesome job boys!!! 👍
so... you didn´t mention Mr. Jimmy anywhere in the description. That guitar played itself.
Mr Jimmy is now in the title! Great call out! Rock on🎸🎼🍻
Who's playing the harmonica....? Using backing tracks?
Gary Hood is playing harmonica off to the side out of camera view and he's also the stage manager..
@@thebossfanman4900 Cool he's really good! Be cool to see him. Thanks!
I saw these the first week of December in Orlando. Holy cow! Totally amazing! They did justice to Led Zeppelin!
bonzo never played DW
Hello there , i wonder if any of you guys would know who's playing harmonica for this soundtrack ? It's sad we dont see any live harmonica player. It's so well done that the musician desserves some credit for the awesome sound 🎶😎.
His name is Gary Hood.
He's the guitar tech, harmonica player & stage manager for Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience. I agree he's very good. Thanks for your comment.
This is probably my favorite song -- across the board.
The base player looks like a better Robert Plant than Robert Plant.
Who said an original can't be copied. Spot on.
I don`t watch Jason much...what`s with the DW kit, NO LUDWIG What????????? I mean it sounds good though.
Drums
Jason Bonham has endorsed DW Drums. Prior to this, for many years he played a Ludwig Vistalite drumkit similar to his late father's.

@@thebossfanman4900 What would his father think ha ha, but I didn`t know that thanks.
Oh no, I could hear the original drum recording at the very end when Jason stops playing, 😢
If that's true they may be Jsson paying homage to his father. I personally didn't pick that up. If it's true it's not that bad of a situation since he consistently talked about his father's influence and some L Z storys growing up & fun antidotes that were very enjoyable to hear about.
о, Виктор Цой на гитаре
What is that 12-string? Gibson Firebird, Fender Mustang? I would like to know.
That's a great question but I don't have the answer.
I believe it’s a Fender Electric XII. Jaguar style.
Awesome Jason absolutely awesome you are your father's looking down on you and smiling so big you guys are all just great I was privileged enough in75 to have seen Led Zeppelin was the most awesome experience of my life and memory I will cherish forever complete awesome more than just rock gods super super super talented gifted musicians and you guys are just as good keep on rocking it keep the Zeppelin Awesome music and an experience Alive n flowing🎵🎶🎵🥰🥰🥰
I had tickets for the In Through The Outdoor tour when I was in 12th grade when John Bonham died Sept-25th 1980 & tour was canceled. That was the last opportunity for me to see them live. Obviously the Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience opportunity was simply incredible. I am a true rock and roll fan from 70s like yourself and agree that was a very special time for sure. I'm glad you enjoyed my videos. 🎼🎸🥂
First rule of playing zep songs, no bald headed singers
LMAO! 😂
Mr Jimmy he looks so much like jimmy page
Yes, for sure🎸
He intentionally tries not to look and act like Jimmy Page when playing with this band. Check out Mr.Jimmy (the band).
Who's playing the harmonica?
It better not be a recording!!!!
Great question. Gary Hood - guitar tech, harmonica player, stage manager
Grown and matured as a solid rock drummer
Awesome! 🤘🏻🔥
The vocalist can sing but he acts like he's got no confidence at all. He keeps standing at the back instead of staying out front and interacting with the crowd. He's focusing too much in nailing his singing because it's a tribute performance so there's no spontaneity at all. Zepparella does it gazillion times better.that it feels like they're performing their own song..
Finally, a ZEP TRIBUTE BAND with a Rhythm Guitar! About effing time. Now just add dedicated Keyboard and Extra Drummer, that be really somey.
I'm thinking why isn't the bass player singing he looks like a young Robert Plant - Yes Jason's doing a good job there.
Jason Bonham sounds and plays as great as his dad! I can't and don't dare judge Jason's creativity, but in my opinion he's cursed with his father's fame and name.
While there can only be one "Bonzo" at a time, I wholeheartedly wish Jason a very successful career and a happy future and I hope he manages to emerge from his father's shadow! He deserves it!
i agree, but i don`t think he has the type of speed his father had.
I DEFINITELY agree that I hope Jason is able to emerge from his dad's shadow. Jason Bonham is simply sensational.
@@jeffdubuque3755 I'm a little leary of posting anything negative about this great performance! To take anything away from it just isn't warranted but there just isn't anyone who can fill Bonhams throne. I always thought that growing up in the seventies but never really experienced his live performances until RUclips. His playing blows me away and has inspired me to play drums myself. Jason is cursed and can never fill that spot
@@johnsrous1616 Unfortunately up to now Jason was only (ab)used as a clone of his father... He hardly got a chance to develop his OWN style. At least this is MY opinion.
Masterpiece without time...
Thank you for your comment! Well said! 🎸🎼🍻

The lead singer. The voice. Surprise

Sensacional.
Who’s playing the harmonica??
Gary Hood. He's also stage manager and guitar tech.
@@thebossfanman4900
He nails it.
Felicidades y salud!
Thank you for your comments. We are the same age and I as well feel the same way as you do. At first I was hesitant to see this show thinking that they would never pull off the ROCK STAR quality sound as the origional L.Z. Needles to say as you can see from my recording they are excellent. Rock on Jason & Mr Jimmy!🎸🎼🍻
damn I missed this when they were on tour. hopefully in 2023???
It was my first time seeing them and well worth it! I never had a chance to see Led Zeppelin When they canceled the in through the out door tour in 1980 when Jason's father died and the tour got cancelled. I had tickets for that show I was in 12th grade. This Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience is excellent!🎸🍻
Frig! They sound amazing.....
James, learn the harmonic parts ffs! 😅
Great performance, enjoyed this on full volume.
The guitarist looks somewhat similar to Jimmy Page 😅
Ngl I thought that was jimmy page for a good second or 2 😂
Jimmy Page or Victor tcoy??
@@ДмитрийНикитенко-т2щ maybe a mix of both I suppose?
Though he does look oriental like victor did..

At 7:10 I hear a drum beat by Jason’s not playing, drum track? I’m surprised, didn’t think he’d go there as good as he is
Interesting that you caught that. I also heard it as well. Maybe he's paying homage to his father by adding at the end. If you notice at the beginning Jason made mention to the special technique his father used opening drums to the song. Thoughts?
I believe Jason is paying homage to his dad. I thought it was kinda cool .
Saw him live a few days ago. Drum sound was so perfect it was baffling.,almost like they sampled the hihat and snare but they definitely weren’t playing to a track and I couldn’t imagine how they’d be triggered otherwise without being able to hear the snare and hihat in the room as it was a small place. I concluded they just nailed it.. that part added at the end was like a 2-3 second original recording.. can only assume why
Oh wow cool cool 🖤
Fuckin Awesome.
Very impressive .
Where's the harmonica player? Prob a recorded track as this level of tour can't afford to pay for add'l musicians. Fine for me I saw these guys in Boston and they were great. The singer has "big shoes" to fill and he nails it.
Gary Hood plays the harmonica off the side of the stage out of view. He is also the guitar tech and Stage manager for Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Experience.
Woulda been so easy to stick a wig on the vocalists' head. So pleased they didn't go down that route 🤩
Zepparella do a surprisingly good cover of this 😍
musically they do pretty good vocally no.
Jason you sound herę like your father. Most sampler drumcloop ever
Is that Mr. Jimmy on the guitar?? Looks just like him, the closest thing to the actual Jimmy Page I know of.
It sure Is, & I agree🎸
Pretty cool but the 2nd guitarist hidden in the back is kinda lame. Guys trying so hard to be noticed but you know they told him to stay in the shadows. Sucks for him.
I agree but its important to know that the two star attractions are Jason & Mr Jimmy on lead guitar.🎸👍
This is just soooo good
That's some good shit Maynard!
Thanks for the video. Seen Jason Mohegan Sun
The guy on the bass look's more like today's Robert plant!
It’s Robert Plants son Smoka Plant 🌱 😵💫🤓
What, the singer never learned that wicked harmonica lead for the song?🤌
Thank you for uploading this, Sir!
Thanks for watching! 🎸
So they’re playing along to a backing track??
I’m guessing they are Plant’s harp parts as well, as it sounds like the recorded version. Bit strange to have Bonzo’s drum part still there though, unless that’s the only way they could pull off the sound.
best zep reproduction ive ever heard
dude got some pipes 😳
You see how the drum kit set up is so simple?
I listen to a lot of Zeppelins cover and Jason’s the only one that plays with the finesse of his father Bonzo has to be be proud smiling from above
They sound amazing!
Mr Jimmy !!!!
Saw these guys un Wellingyon NZ last year... bloody awesome!!!
It’s borderline criminal he’s not playing Ludwig Drums - 😮
Need sorround sound ear phones
Who is playing the harmonica?
Gary Hood . He's a guitar tech, harmonica player & stage manager. He doesn't like to be at Center Stage so he plays off to the side out if view.
Jason and the band is sounding great here! Wow! So is Mr. Jimmy!
So is the Harmonica pre- recorded since they never show anyone playing the Harp...Milli vanili tactics...makes you wonder what else is pre recorded
Gary Hood is guitar tech, harmonica player, stage manager at Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience
@@thebossfanman4900 would have been nice to see his talent exhibited, especially when it was so close to the original recording.
@@artruiz169 I agree with you. My assumption is they may have thought harmonica is not a centerpoint of Led Zep music so he'd stay out of the spot light. I was 3rd row right side of stage & I couldn't see him anywhere.
