Good to find an Indian expert speaking on this issue. I used to think I am all alone here, diagnosed as an adult, completely wrecked and miserable.

Maybe connecting to another ADHDer (diagnosed) can give us some insights to deal with this better.

@@pallavinautiyal3030 Hi Pallavi. Sorry for the late reply. I saw your reply and was going to reply in some time but forgot. You know how it goes :) Hours turn into days into weeks into months. The usual :P I’m from Mumbai btw. Got diagnosed last year and I cannot emphasise enough how grateful I am for it. I finally had an answer. Feel free to write to me through email. You can find it on my channel in the 'About' section. I’d love to talk to someone who actually “understands”. Us folks need to stay close together ;)

I am literally crying right now it's very painful to watch full video for me personally
I know my whole school life got messed up with it and everyone bullied me a lot and I always felt like a looser.
My teachers always critised me for stupid and silly things that had been made by me in the past but I know that I am a good student but there was something that restricts me of doing my normal daily cores..
I pray to God for helping me and than my mom took me to the hospital
Tha doctor was just like an angel being present there for me who helped me a lot . He gave me medications and other stuff..
from that senerio onwards my life changed a lot and the Medication turn on the light of my dark world and helped me in achieving for what I am capable of ....
Now I become a teacher in school and help other kids in my school
and try to understand their problems and help them to succeed in their future.......God will always with you ❤ just believe in him....

There quite a few people i know who have been diagnosed with adhd, but are kinda able to perform and manage to clear out academic tasks, and even manage to keep their profession afloat. But the ones who are on the other end of the spectrum , who struggle with academics as well as profession, need humungous support to help them through, and commonfolk fail to understand what it actually feels like to bottleneck your brain's performance perpetually , despite its immense potential. Life actually spirals down , and yea sometimes even friends and fams find it hard to accept that just constantly breathing down " put more effort" or "work harder" dosen't miraculously cure this condition. People still think its just laziness and a state of mind that can be miraculously cured by meditation and " trying to focus "!

I think i've struggled with Adhd all my life.. as a kid i was considered a bad kid because of my inattentiveness and finding everything just so boring i started being mischievous just to pass the time.
But I used to get good grades as I used to thrive at studying at the last moment.
Accepting to myself that I have Adhd was a big challenge. I still haven't gone to a professional to get proper treatment yet.. because it in a way scares me a bit.
People still think Adhd is just an excuse from work.
I think I am really lucky that I found a passion in Music which makes my work really interesting.. but till date I procrastinate till the very end and thrive and deliver under the last minute pressure but it not good enough to be honest.
I try and workout everyday just to get a little boost in my mood so that I can work.
Even socializing is a difficult task.. most of the times when I go for meetings and I am not in the right mood or mindset.. i am really not interested to talk to anyone.
There's a lot of little things i keep observing helplessly about myself.
This video was really amazing.. and what the doctor said is so true. It feels good to know that you are not alone and maybe all of this can be helped.

The saddest part about indian whatsoever education based videos is you expect them to talk information in hindi or major understandable language but it turn out they are educating about something for foreign kids i guess but not indian parents !!! i searched for Adhd explained in hindi to send my parents to tell the what is going on with me !! this is what i came to !! Educated womens of Indian why do u have to prove through english that u r highly educated!!
