It's always the little dogs that feel the need assert their authority. These are my favorite style of videos. Just taking in all of the greenery and seeing the brightly colored houses feeds my soul. I don't think I'd mind hiking 45 minutes to live in a little bungalow on the side of a mountain.
It is always the little ones! I don't think I would mind either if I am honest! Every day, I feel the need to be further away, but those in my house feel much different! One day, I am sure I will have a house far away. I will try to do more videos showing the landscape. I prefer making videos like this as well.
Hey Sara!! Watching you only feeds my desire to return more. I explored 2 years and seemed like if you walked 10 minutes in any direction there was a waterfall or something beautiful to appreciate. The next trip is probably 8 months from now. As always thanks for the great content. 😊
what a beautiful view while you're looking for your dog. I had to watch with closed captions because my dog was just too excited about all the dogs talking haha WOW your dog needs LOTS of walking. I'm thankful our Puerto Rican street dog is actually pretty chill considering he isn't even 2 years old yet. How cool to have guava trees all around! What an incredible mountainside view , the cute houses and the flowers!!! Okay, I think we need to get to Columbia sooner than I thought! Thank you for sharing :) New subs here
haha! thats funny your dogs were going crazy! Yea there are so many guavas, and up the road there are even more! There are so many fruits around everywhere! Yesss Colombia is a beautiful country, if you visit let me know:)
Nice quick mini tour of your neighborhood. I felt very safe traveling alone In Santander around San Gil and especially outside near Geno Perez area. Cundinamarca is nice in the countryside the Suburbs like Chia are okay just too crowded with some crime. Bogota I felt like Needed to watch my back especially at night, the thing is the US State Department has most of the safe countryside as red zones but to me it was exactly like the opposite was true? Country people for the majority of the time were very friendly and helpful!
Thank you! I love that area of Santander also. I traveled around there last year, it is amazing! I like Bogota, but it has pockets of really dangerous areas, bu yea you just have to watch your back. I personally have found the cities more dangerous, and I have traveled all around Colombia. The small towns for me are safer in my opinion, but I think they are marked red because in the past with the crime a lot of those who lived in the countryside were displaced due to violence. According to my local friends since the Peace Agreement it has changed! But still the border of Venezuela and Ecuador are still dangerous areas, and some places in the Amazon, but the rest I have not had an issue.
I have been reading essays on Medium all morning about people bitching about how utterly and completely fucked the USA is these days. Then I see this video and realize how blessed we are to live here in Colombia Sara.
Luckily, a lot of what's being written is not entirely applicable to the entire US. I had to stop reading on Medium lately. These videos are the magic that keep me going as long as I'm here, though. And it isn't that it's terrible here, I just want a new lifestyle, a Latin lifestyle. Just like you and Sara, hahah. Two totally different, ut both so inviting❤
I'm in love with the flowers, landscape, and the colors of the houses. Now talk about the fragrances. Does the air smell like flowers, or more like trees? How about the fruit trees? Do they smell fragrant?
@ Hey Patti! I understand, I have to back off of Medium every now and then myself. I find myself becoming too negative, and I have zero reason to be negative these days.
for this part of Colombia it is a good price, only because this is a bit of an expensive area! Thank you for watching... he def needs some snow, i think if I take him south we can find some snow!

@@jeffschueler1182 I think we're pretty darn lucky right now, so let's celebrate being happy and healthy in the now. 💛
$109,000 for 2 houses sounds good. Your video popped up and I enjoyed the Columbian countryside. Find the husky some snow on a mountain 🏔️. lol
