      @Ross Otto All of creation points to a marvelous Creator. You think everything came from nothing? Completely unscientific. Better study laws of entropy and conservation of energy and realize that even your beating heart pumping red blood cells through your veins to your lungs are irreducibly complex. One part could not evolve without the other already existing. Creation is evidence of the Creator.

    The south-western part of South Africa (just under but including Namaqualand) is currently experiencing the worst drought in a century. Bad for us living here but a regular part of the native/fynbos life cycle. The intense conditions create wildfires, which fertilises the soil and clears the way for dormant seeds to germinate. Great drought usually precedes great rain, and so the vegetation regenerates itself.

    • @christinehorner1856
      @christinehorner1856 6 лет назад +1

      In America the plains Indians used to burn away the prairies to create the same regeneration of new growth and vitality. They managed the land for hundreds of years keeping it fertile and life giving for animals and man.

    • @christinehorner1856
      @christinehorner1856 6 лет назад

      I truly hope the drought ends for you soon. I watched this and remembered that I learned in the bible how God put the seed of plants in the ground. I thought how wonderful and beautiful Namaqualand was and would be every year when the rains come. Always every year bringing the richness of food and regeneration of life in its many forms. If the drought has lasted longer than usual, I can only hope and ask God that He send you the rain at its appointed time of the year. Being a lover of goat milk, I really hope for all the people and children that the drought not be long so the sheep and goats have plenty of sweet plants to eat to make all that sweet milk. I raised them for a while myself. And life was never sweeter before or since.

    Nature is beautiful, unforgiving, and unapologetically harsh. When the rains come, it's beauty is magnificent. It has been this way always and humans need to leave it alone.

    • @breAnnasmama
      @breAnnasmama 5 лет назад

      Sue'82 Metal Maniac you’d have to have the ability to hold anger against someone to not be forgiving ... nature is neither forgiving nor unforgiving. It’s God who created nature in its beauty ., and the balance of things can seem harsh at times but where there’s death , there’s new life and vice verse. Part of the cycle .. everything brings forth renewal and Sustenance. Just a matter of how u wanna look at it. It is fearful man who’s tempted nature tht always finds it unforgiving ... respect for nature and it’s extremes is needed.

      The Secrets of Nature I will also look out for things like this if you’d like me to inform u as well .. is this your original content ? I do watch several of your videos and can be on the lookout , as I pretty much only use RUclips to view nature documentary lol. I do
      Appreciate when there’s not so many ads In videos .. every once In a while I’ll come across one of ur guys that doesn’t have ads all thru & beginning and after the vid and I appreciate that a lot. I do not feel that youtube should charge ppl to have ad free service on an app that is not having to support celebrities or networks , as that’s why sponsors run ads in the first place .. I feel ( no disrespect to any of u who use youtube for whatever purpose in promoting ur content, I get it that the monetizing allows a viable source for some folks .. ) I just feel as though youtube was intended for an audience of everyone to be able to have a place to post their individual content without the constraints of the industry Being carried over into it all. I don’t even care to support any of the so called “ verified “ accounts of celebrities who have plenty of avenues to promote their content as is. It would be nice to just have a place not over run with advertisers using us as billboards .. RUclips really ruined it though. I didn’t mind when it was simply one at the beginning .. then they allowed one after a vid. Then 7-10 or so within vids and only bc they’re trying to force ppl to pay for their service , competing with other social platforms like Netflix etc. .. it’s not ur fault lol , I just don’t like how youtube has gone in the direction of plastering ads ALL over the homepage , most are intrusive and have no basis of relevance and same as the channels and content they’re trying to plaster on the homepage for me at least .. I don’t watch celebrities or Care to see any content that’s explicit , yet they wanna promote things like that .. and downloading blocking apps - rhat doesn’t guarantee anything good out of it either .. ppl give permission blindly to apps and sites to access and share their info whether it’s personally identifiable or not and they are constantly leaving themselves vulnerable to malicious apps and sites and just blindly giving permissions that aren’t needed in order to run an apps features etc. they take too much privacy away from ppl and yet aren’t required any set of regulations and that’s very much intentionally done . I jut appreciate when things aren’t overrun with ads . Thank u , as I’ve watched half this vid and havent seen one single ad during. Yay ! Very much appreciated
