The whole EP is awesome. There are 2 songs "Cellar Door" and "Angel Eyes" which are harsh vocals only. The other 3 songs are all cleans and my favorite of those 3 (and my favorite song on the EP) is "Too Close/Too Late. Hope to see your reactions! (Maybe just do a full EP reaction?)
@@AMusicianandaJerk Awesome! What's cool about the EP is that all the songs transition into the the next track. And all the songs have videos for them too.
Courtney's vocals never seem forced into the song. It always feels more naturally integrated with the entire tune, more than other bands of this genre for me.
"I'm gonna be hated for saying this..." proceeds to say something almost everyone who has heard Spiritbox agrees with. I'm so confused. Unless it was a dig at another artist. Oh, wait... is this a dig at [redacted]? If so, I agree. Though, [redacted] has tons of talent, I just can't get into how [redacted] does it. As for favorite from the EP, it's Too Close/Too Late. Though, it has only clean vocals.
They are up for a grammy award!
Courtney does gutteral and low screams too. She has a whole repertoire of screams and clean vocal tones. She does it all.
Exactly. Gutteral stuff is toneless, so it always sounds super low. She does it, but more as a light sprinkling instead of only doing that.
Everything on this EP is outstanding and I love them all but Too Close/Too Late is my favorite. Hope you check it and all the rest out.

Thanks for the info! I think a full EP reaction is what we will do. Stay tuned!

Ooooh even better when they all have videos!
@@AMusicianandaJerk Just make sure to watch them in the correct order as the EP. 👍
The whole ep is incredible, cellar door and angel eyes are 🔥
You two are most definitely right, that was a phenomenal song! Love the channel ✌️
Team Courtney
Drummer just ghost notes the while time, dudes insane.... just doing his own thing.
Loved it … damnnnn.
Like her cleans.
I never get tired of listening to her
You have to get around to doing their trilogy the Mara Effect live. It's amazing!
oooh yes, that will be after the new EP I think! Thanks for the reminder!
Cellar Door is insane off this EP
Saw 'em live last year
Awesome!
Too close/too late edges out the others but everything on the EP is so good
He's playing 7-string, mate.
Glorious song, even Grammy Nominated, if that still means anything. Great, cool single.
Fear of fear it's excellent.
I love them so much.
Even Courtney's most gutteral screams sound better to my ears that you know who's.

Well said
Oh and they did a colab with Megan the Stallion 🐍

We have a huge jinger following as well .

[the one who shall not be named] is great but I just find more nuance, texture and emotional range in Courtney's vocal performance.
You also missed a collab with Megan Thee Stallion.
