Absolutely 100% true, all of it. I’ve seen several of Leon’s vids and they are an inspiration. They codified my own thinking and focused it into a totally different way to approach giving up alcohol. Alcohol truly is poison and as soon as you realize that, it’s easy to stop. Watch this guy and subscribe, consider his program as I have. I’m on day 2 and it’s the best “day 2” I’ve ever had! Thanks Leon!
I'm on my 6th day with no alcohol. I drank a lot. My first 4 mornings I woke up with a smile on my face and drank my coffee, and my first 4 nights I went to bed at 7pm but I was so restless and twitching, and itching, I didnt ACTUALLY go to bed until maybe 11pm all those nights. Day 5 and 6 i woke up with headaches, and at night i was sweating a lot. My bed was really wet every morning but i slept good. It's honestly been easy, just try to get to bed early and grind through it

I'm so happy I found your videos. I've been on a journey to fully stop drinking for about 6 mos -- it's been on and off and on and off - and these videos have been really, really valuable to me. Thank you so much for making them.
Today is my 2 weeks dry of alcohol. 37 years old and have already gotten a fatty liver from drinking. Drank everyday. Just the thought of going 2 days without drinking seemed so impossible, scary and frustrating. The 1st few days were hell. Now, it's only been 2 weeks and I'm actually surprised how much better I feel. And my appetite HAS GONE THROUGH THE ROOF!🤣 . MOUNTAIN DEW has also been my best friend lately 🤷♂️
Such a simple way of looking at it. I've been watching your videos. Been drinking heavily for the past 15 years, just turned 54 and have been tires of how I feel every morning but could never get through day 3 because like you said, I was giving up something. Never considered reprogramming how I thought about alcohol until I started watching these. Bravo! What a brilliant young man. Thanks Leon.
Thank you Leon! I'm starting my sober journey right now. I love the way you describe the "matrix" most people live in with relation to alcohol. This is exactly what turned me Vegan in 2018, when I learned about the matrix blinding us from the truth about animal exploitation and also how we have absolute zero need for meat, dairy and eggs, that was it! Dead simple, went vegan on the spot, never looked back. I feel another revolution is starting for me now, I'm very excited! Thank you!
Actually, I’ve spoken to people that said the exact same thing happened to them with meat! It was just like a switch in the brain and voila...Time to apply that to alcohol brother!
I would happily debate you on your vegan moral high ground total nonsense. Sure there is animal exploitation but you don't seem to have any knowledge of the impact farming and supplying you vegans actually has. Health status also very debatable
@@truplayez513 Yes I do. Being Vegan isn't taking the outlandish position that all harm must be eradicated. Ofcourse you will inevitably cause some harm to others by just by living yourself. The vegan position is to exclude as far as is possible and practicable-all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. We need to eat something to survive that's obvious! But we don't need to maximize suffering of other animals by eating meat or other animal products. We slaughter about ten times as many animals annually as there are humans living on the planet and those animals eat way more calories in crop than they produce calories in meat. So if you're worried about crop deaths you should be vegan.
Your argument is a moral one and then a sustainability problem that is more about bad farming practices. An omnivore diet can be sustainable and non cruel., Plant based farming as practised today is just as cruel and unsustainable. As for the health claim, some people do well on plant based diets and some do not, which is maybe a genetic trait so it isn't for everyone. Have you considered the impact of 8 billion people eating a plant based diet with the current farming practices
@@truplayez513 You are wrong, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics - the largest organization of food and nutrition professionals says a vegan diet can be healthy and is suitable for humans at all stages of life. They don't make claims like that without substantial evidence to back it up, the science is overwhelmingly in support of a vegan diet for all humans. Thus killing another sentient being to eat its flesh becomes an unecesary unjustifiable act of cruelty, it's immoral and selfish. Farming vegetables doesn't require you to stab animals in the neck and it certainly requires far less resources than rearing any animal for food.
I feel like i have disappointed myself....after about 40 days of being sober i got myself drunk again...thankyou family reunions....now i feel like shit and unable to focus on anything...thankyou for all your support and advice...im just sad and disappointed right now

Yeah, the pre phase is as important as anything. I was in a very bad state, living in Texas. A family member drove me and my stuff to Oregon. It took five days. 8 days now. Felt great a few days ago but since yesterday I’ve felt extremely anxious and just weird lol. I was not a heavy drinker but it was still One glass of wine a night for 8 months. 8 days sober and feeling great, walking daily and eating healthy now, trying to go keto also to lose weight! Only problems I have are issues sleeping at night. Got a morning job but can't get my body to adjust to sleep at night. The liquor was knocking me out so I might look into some cannabis gummies to help with sleeping and asjust my sleep schedule.
I teally wouldnt go down that road lol..Trust me..Work out at the gym etc train hard , building up to it , train in mornings if you can, will take u at least a month to adjust..
Yahh but I tried to go cold turkey but I'm in the DT stage and I'm afraid of dying from quitting cold turkey which I tried four times and I felt I almost died. After 4 days of hard core DT's of shaking uncontrollably and after the 4th day I could barely walk. Is weening myself off of alcohol slowly safer? I need help
I'm 66 and a lifelong 🍺 and 🍷 drinker. COVID19 lockdowns and isolation, more. July 2021 our house gym reopened. October I found Mark Sisson and the paleo low carb diet. 30 lbs. less fat plus more muscle and stamina. I've always been a work then ethos. My tolerance is 8 drinks BUT I do more sometimes and that worries me. I've done CBT, was an engineer and am a critical thinker. Not sure what Soberclear can do for me. Love 💘 your videos and positivity.
I haven't experienced that. I like alcohol, I think e.g. craft beer is amazing and tasty and I used to drink it every day. But I stopped, mainly because 1) I wanted to lose weight 2) it's become too expensive 3) I started getting morning headaches. I don't hate alcohol (I just wish it didn't have such a negative impact) and in the future I'm probably going to drink it again once in a while (not every day though) but I never really had a problem with just switching to water for a week, a month, two months, whatever my goal was. I guess I just like challenges and change, even if it means dropping something I like. I don't get attached to experiences. Also, I never really see significant changes, when I stop drinking alcohol. Apart from the headaches recently. But I used to do e.g. 30-day sober stretches and at the end I felt pretty much the same as before. I guess some of it may be in our head. If we expect amazing change, we convince ourselves we feel it.
I always found the first seven ok if I am working. Saying that shows I have tried many times to stop but I am going to do it this time. My trick is to stop now, one month before Christmas. Then I will have great pride come new year and I wont go back to it.
Leon, I've watched a few of your posts now. This one, emphasizing the preparation stage and the frame of mind that is needed, should be early in everyone's approach, but it wasn't the first one I saw. Have you considered putting your ideas into a book? That way you could build a structure to your ideas that isn't immediately obvious to someone like me. Or is there a book? If so, please post the link.

Hes right! Will power is awful! Its mental! I've done both twice before!
7 days free from drink today is a good day feel so fresh 🙌
I think will power works maybe not for everyone but it does work! I ve done it and a lot of my friends have done it as well
Day 10 off alcool after 25years drinking, and I found it (until now) E-A-S-Y :) You that are thinking about it, give it a shot (and not a spirit one)
@@urajdeonarain8516 Thanks for the support man, really appreciated! But as I said, surprisingly, I am finding this super easy to do, once the mindset is changed, there is no difficulties! I believe people struggle (same for tabacco) because they don't have the right mindset. The books of Allen Karr helps he lot!!!
I drank myself to sleep for 40 years never failed
Four days of not taken anything and I feel listless, tired n sick
8 days sober and feeling great, walking daily and eating healthy now, trying to go keto also to lose weight! Only problems I have are issues sleeping at night. Got a morning job but can't get my body to adjust to sleep at night. The liquor was knocking me out so I might look into some cannabis gummies to help with sleeping and asjust my sleep schedule.
I teally wouldnt go down that road lol..Trust me..Work out at the gym etc train hard , building up to it , train in mornings if you can, will take u at least a month to adjust..
Don’t recommend the gummies either! You have to train your brain to get tired on its own. Otherwise you’re just replacing one addiction for another
im pushing 60 and thats how i feel.ive wasted my life but im not looking back anymore.
I haven't been drinking alcohol for 15 days I used to drink every day not that much but every day it's not easy but it works
Official Day One
I love your energy.
Thanks you so much for these videos. I am on day 4 and the info in these videos have helped immensely in this first week.
You've got this 🔥
Thank you my man just what I needed to hear 👍
Day 3
Let’s get it Leon! Thanks for the video
Cheers James!
3days will power I will do this
I’m at 18 days! And yes! Thank you:)
Legend!
Congratulations on improving yourself mentally and physically
@@gwillis01 thanks man!
Sober for a week feels great but my demon is still in there craving.
Thank you so much for this video 🙏
7 days strong 💪
Very light on substance
Hi everyone I like to share a little alcohol consumption drinking Behavior ? If possible have a drink every ( 2- Week's ) like most state workers do because of there salary payments schedule

Day 7 Man. Thanks for all your help!!!
I wish I thought like u wen I was ur age..r u 25-30??
Day 1 again. I really hope I don't drink again.
No hangovers and no more waking up having another drink
After stopping drinking for a week my smelling senses are on point like I’m a police dog I’m like damn wtf why can I smell everything so strongly like I even could smell juice stronger lol it’s weird but does anybody else experience this ?
Thanks very much Master!! Best wishes!
I don't think not drinking for 7 days especially the ones who drink a couple glasses of wine or a couple of beers pr night .... The drinkers that are hard core everyday heavy use would be...... But for the other ones is not too hard for most...I think quiting smoking for 7 days would be harder....
Thank you
Bro I need help I want to stop
can I ask what is your accent a mixture of... I have a mixed. up accent but have been away from the UK so lonf and i know even my cousins accents have changed...
What if you find life pointless and know there is nothing out there for you?
So when you're drinking often wouldn't you already be in a down trodden state of mind? How does a person that is a drunk get in a happy state of mind?
Quitting is the first step. It doesn't happen immediately, but if you stay sober you will gradually start feeling better.
Very much like the EASYway to stop drinking method
A nutritionist told me I should avoid bananas. I listened for a few months but recently I caved and got a bunch.
4 days 21 hrs
I told my little guy daddy wasn't drinking anymore... can't go back on that, no way. So I'm done.
Wow! You’re talking to me 💪🏾
alcohol is awesome 👏 👌🙌if you drink it in moderation of Course! I love looking forward to having drinks and feeling that intensity of life 🎉🎉 as long im not drinking most of the time
The is always one
One week and I want to drink so bad 😐
Been there and done it under the worst conditions. I don't think I talked to a soul, just walked my pup. This is all unnecessary, I you have to quit, you will.
Thanks to all for wonderful support!!!!!!! I just had My last nasty beer.
hello dude
4 months. 😬🙌🏼🤜
Well into 5 months. Feeling like I’ve got this under control now.
Well then talk about it, it takes 10 minutes?
1 Corinthians 6:10 says no drunkard shall inherit the kingdom of God
Alcohol does give me something. It's a social aspect. All my buddies drink and we have fun and laughs.
