There isn't a more exciting sight in world rugby than Abby Dow running towards the try line with ball in hand.
So incredibly happy to see Abby Dow back. I had the biggest grin on my face as she sailed down the wing to score!

Seriously could not be any more proud of any of our national teams as I am of this Red Roses Team and Abby Dow making back in the team after such an awful injury is absolutely amazing - Good Luck Ladies - You've already made us proud now show the Men how it's done.

Keep smashing it girls! Never have I been happier to get up at 4:30am that to watch you all play.
An amazing group of rugby players! There were so many highlights in the match - from the incredible mauls, to outstanding handling to moments of individual flair, that it is difficult to single out any individual. I am, though, in awe of Abby Dow and how she has recovered so well from that terrible injury (we were at the match in Gloucester with my granddaughters), not only to make the squad but to play and to score that fantastic try. Not many people capable of doing that. I played (many years ago, now) and have always been a keen follower of England rugby, but I have to say that the Red Roses have brought a new and exciting dimension to the game and have gained yet another dedicated supporter. Can't wait for the match with France. It will be hard, physical and demanding, but I have every confidence that the Roses will give it their all. Onwards and upwards!

Thought the comment about the ball feeling underweight was interesting. Not only did we miss a number of kicks, so have the other teams over the 1st weekend.
Wonder how much time they had access to the new ball prior to the event.
Apparently it's the same with crickets balls. They have a slightly different feel and weight in the southern hemisphere.
