Most pallets are made from oak. It's called grade 2 or 3 or 4, not good enough to use for other building purposes. Oak is dense, so it has amazing insulation properties. Husband and I had a logging business, and we cut alot of varieties of timber . Our home was built from oak logs. Using pallets like this is a great idea, and I admire this man for his use of them

I loved hearing the power tools in the back ground lol the clay mortar brick oven was awesome though. Love the “cedar shake” siding. It adds structural integrity the way it’s constructed. I would say that you should have staggered the butt joints of the roof “shingles” though. Too many running joints. But the overlap is genius.
