This musical renaissance the UK is going through is great. Feels long overdue! Bringing back old sounds and making them new, blending genres together and experimenting. Music feels fresh again with artists like Ren, Raye, Chinchilla, The Last Dinner Party, and Sleep Token on the scene (and plenty more I'm sure).

I first was introduced to raye back in ‘22 on TikTok I heard a mini part of Escapism & I went to look her up listened to the full song & like 2 others and i literally fell in love with her. I’m so proud of her, she deserves everything amazing coming to her🩷
Been listening and in awe of RAYE since her first EP : SECOND! That EP hit different than anything out at the time ( I think 2016? ) and left an impression on me. Then the Jax Jones feature. After that came out I understood the level of talent that was there but could see the push back of letting her talent take over. I was aware of her songwriting credits and skills from the get and knew that alone would take her places. Then summer 2022 “Hard Out Here” was on my Release Radar, I hear it and I remember thinking “I’ve never heard her this honest”. I did my research and realized the growth and passion that was behind what she was releasing was something the music industry at large was needing / missing. It has been such a joy to see her continue to rise to where she rightfully deserves to be. Artist like her that bring truth and make it digestible for a wide range of ages is a straight up gift. So glad to see you guys react in the same likemindedness. Now I have to check out Ren 😂 I highly recommend reacting to Raye’s album if you haven’t already! Subscribed!
