I love this look and want to do it on an architectural piece that already is stained. I’ve added a pine piece of wood to make it larger. Do I need to stain that additional piece in the same tone in order to achieve this look???
Hello Amy! I missed watching this video at first glanced, but I thought what an inspiration to see your hands working with wood and paint colors that turned outs to be an amazing pieces. Amy you have good taste in texture and with colors. Thank you 😊.
Hi Amy!!! ❤ so happy to see u!!!! I LOVE Fridays w/ u!!! 😊 from North Carolina! I ADORE THE CRACKED GESSO with your milk paints!!! Best products ever!!!
I have a question, if I’m not able to afford the paints and everything etc at once can I use the antiquing glaze over the top of a regular mineral paint that doesn’t have top coat in it and get the same effect since it’s also reactive to water? Also could I still use cracked patina with regular mineral/chalk paint as well to do all the wonderful finishes you do overall? I know you use cracked gesso with your milk paint but yeah just curious if they can be interchangeable with other paints that I can do thin coats with so they will react well too
I am doing this to a small wood lamp I have . 👍👍👍👍
.love it ❤
Thank you so much!
