    I think the effect of Empyrean Hammers giving you a chance to cast Hammer of Wrath is awesome even if it is the exact same text as Final Verdict. This gives you the ability to still use HoW in aoe scenarios meaning Templar Divine Arbiter builds aren't dead on arrival with a lot of their talents not really aiding their aoe damage. You can still get HoW without using FV in other words. Also don't forget this gives prot paladins access to HoW as well outside of wings and execute

    We are getting every single point of the tree, with the exception of the choice nods, so it might be better thatn we think

  • @GripBeanbagz
    @GripBeanbagz 4 месяца назад

    Dont remember, are we only getting enough points to fill in 1 line or all of them?

      All hero talents will be taken by level 80, just some of them are choice nodes.

  • @Wakener00

    There has to be some class/spec talent shuffling coming with the alpha/beta. Too many overlaps in these hero talents otherwise.

    • @edwardhatfield5360
      @edwardhatfield5360 4 месяца назад

      If they stack, and are taken now because they are good, great. Of course , if you're talking about the node on the hero talent tree to make hammer of wrath more likely to crit, that would not overlap with the ability that makes it always crit. However, not taking it in the class tree would allow you to take divine purpose in the class tree which is kind of cool.

      @@edwardhatfield5360 I'm mostly referring to the overlap in Hammer of Wrath resets through Final Verdict and a combination of Templar talents in Endless Wrath and Hammerfall. FV casts will call down an Empyrean Hammer with Hammerfall, which can reset HoW through Endless Wrath. Resets WILL be overwritten with that interaction, so I hope that is taken into consideration by the Devs. 10% more crit on an ability that always crits is a wash, but would be decent if Vengeful Wrath is retooled.

    • @LordHypnos4
      @LordHypnos4 2 месяца назад

      @@Wakener00 The fact that you have two charges alleviates that problem almost entirely, not to mention that Endless Wrath gives you HoW during your aoe rotation when you're not using FV, and it also gives prot access to HoW outside of wings and execute. However I do believe some of these talents need a second or third pass anyway so not against them looking at this one too. Hammer always getting a 10% crit chance on itself should instead grant you 10% crit on other abilities for a short duration imo, or give you a crit damage multiplier giving us better scaling. Hell make it a mastery amp instead #makemasterygoodagain

    • @Wakener00
      @Wakener00 2 месяца назад

      @@LordHypnos4 The perma crit HoW is the big issue imo. It needs a second pass no matter what, but I agree that crit damage % would be an easy fix.

    Templar tree might as well be a PVP talent tree cause everything seems to be PVP-oriented.

    • @LvladenPvP

      I was kinda thinking the opposite but maybe! I’m assuming there are going to be pvp modifiers on everything in the Templar treee otherwise it will likely be too one-shotty

    • @sygmarvexarion7891
      @sygmarvexarion7891 4 месяца назад

      @@LvladenPvP Which is always the fate of ret. Too one shotty, then nerfed to the ground, then buffed a bit, then the other classes get buffed more, end of expansion. Rinse and repeat.

    Overall, Herald of the Sun did a great job of nailing a class fantasy theme. Templar, not so much for me. If you read the description for Templar, it’s very difficult to distinguish it from what a Ret Paladin already is.
    The gameplay of Templar sounds fun though. I just much prefer a Sword theme for Templar vs hammers

      @@LvladenPvP Thanks for the reply! Trust me I have been on that Templar feedback page (Luthorion) on the forums going hard on the class fantasy of Templar.
      Since the ability Light’s Guidance comes from Wake of Ashes, it makes complete logical sense to have Templars be sword based! The Ashbringer is our iconic Paladin sword.
      Plus our class icon for Paladin is already a hammer. It makes way more sense for Templar to specialize and hone in on the sword fantasy instead to really separate it from a standard Paladin!
      I’ll do my best sir!

    Templar all the way, herald seems much more pve to me then Templar

    • @stormrushtv
      @stormrushtv 4 месяца назад +6

      I see it as the complete opposite. Templar is basically mega AOE all the time which is M+ centered. Herald has constant health regeneration, better self healing, better mobility

    • @LvladenPvP
      @LvladenPvP  4 месяца назад +2

      On a very surface level viewpoint I think Templar might be difficult to tune in PvP. It looks like it could be really OP due to how it’s damage is upfront, but utility wise I think herald is more catered to pvp
