Im glad you actually payed something with this pedal instead of like everyone else just noodle around the first time using it and never following it up with an actual composition. 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks so much Naomi ❤️ this one was a STAPLE on my board for a really long time!! Finally was able to make a demo with it, I definitely recommend it for harp!
Hahaha it’s pretty much non-existent!! I kept swapping new ones so much and pulling ones off for demos and covers that I just stopped using a board for a while. Definitely going to build a new one soon!!!
Thank you so much, Bryan!! I really appreciate that!! 🥰🎶 I actually have this album on my Bandcamp if you’re ever interested in streaming it! emilyharpist.bandcamp.com
J.S. Bach: What's that? Lackey: It's that Hopkins chick with that pedal again. Bach: Well get her out of here, we just dropped a hundred grand on new pipes!
@@emilyharpist way to make me feel like crap for finally learning the Crystal Theme for Final Fantasy lol btw if you did that it would prob get a ton of views!
Not too sure it sounds much like an organ..... but it def is a wonderful effect. (granular, it sounds like) it gives the harp a beautiful gamelan kind of feel at times. ❤ That was great, you two! 😁
Another awesome demo 👏. Im a guitarist and everytime I buy a pedal I check 2 other guys (guitarists) who do great guitar demos and then look to see if Emilys put it through its paces. The result, Im buying pedals like a MOFO with FOMO. Thanks Emily for helping me burn through the cash 🤣🤣
Ooooh, this is awesome! I was listening to a song from a musical yesterday that features both rolled harp chords and sustained organ chords as well and was wondering if aa pedal could do the same effect! I might check this pedal out once I upgrade my harp or slap a pickup on it. :)
I definitely recommend!! It was one of the first pedals I ever bought a few years ago and it's super easy to use! I always recommend Earthquaker Deices pedals to new "harpedalists" cause they usually work so well and are so easy!
Awesome question!!! I love pairing this with EQD Westwood, I want to get a clip together soon of them - cutting the bass and boosting the treble on that EQ before the organizer makes the harp sound like a little music-box toy thing, it’s really cool, then throwing a shimmer verb at the end adds some really cool textures, like EQD Afterneath!! The first three pedals I bought myself all at once actually hahaha cause I tried them all together. A magical combo!!! 🪄
I haven’t tried it with a lo fi pedal cause I thought the modulation of the lofi with the added pitches of the organizer would clash, but I could be wrong!! I’ll give it a try soon enough
Next video I go to a farm and try this with a 1/4” cable. Stay tuned 😆 but in all serious I just looked that one up now! Never heard of it but it seems wild
I dont know if yall know this, but I saw Emily kick a dog once.... she was running and yelling "how dare you stephen" and then bam.... tripped over dog the bounty hunter solving a crime, she was super nice and apologetic for the accident, but I seent it! with my own sight balls

I've been wondering how this one would sound on the harp! It's so dramatic and grandiose, I love it. Amazing demo as always.

@@emilyharpist How big must your pedalboard be by now?!

I'm always a sucker for harmonized/octave effects, but it's the tremolo-like warble that makes this pedal for me. It's such an endearing pedal.
It really is!! It was always a staple on my board for the longest time!
For improv, this sounds absolutely brilliant. I could listen to an entire album like this!! 👏👏

6:53 Really loved this setting 👍🏻
Thanks so much Andy!! This was my favorite setting for the Organizer, it works so well with harp!
Earthquaker Devices always has the coolest pedals. Nice job keeping those shoulders relaxed!
Hahaha thank you Johnny!!! And they really do
I want to get one of these for my bass. Fun for noodling around.
I’d love to hear it on bass! EQD are the best for noodlin’
Let me know if you get it I'd love to hear that
I used it in bass for a while, it was pretty nice, but as I recall the tracking on the low E string wasn't perfect
also this sounds amazing Em keep killin it!
Thank you!! 🥺❤️❤️❤️

Love love love the sound.
Today I put this video on right before bedtime and it was a great companion for quieting down
I'm so glad!! Thank you so much :)
Thanks for the awesome demo!! :D
❤️
not sure what kind of organ it's meant to sound like but to me it just sounds like something out of Paper Mario
That progression is dope, the rhythm chords are deep. Some Castlevania stuff! 😅❤
Thanks so much!! It’s all improv, I was definitely feeling the Castlevania vibe that day!

Epic
You should cover “The Godfather Waltz” by Nino Rota or “Speak Softly Love” by Andy Williams. That’s the vibe I got from the first couple of mins!
If you were to build a pedal rig which incorporated this pedal, what else would add? Which reverb? Would you add a lo-fi pedal?

I wonder how your harp would sound through a HOG... not the animal, but like, the effects pedal.

It reminds me of something by Andreas Vollenveider, maybe from White Winds?
