Her anger was misplaced: she just didn’t know how to express anger at herself. We are not in the business of rewarding negative behaviors.

They should have wrapped it with the batteries and put them in when he opened it. Kindness is the spirit of Christmas. Children need to be shown kindness so that they can learn to be kind. I get the comedy, but this hit close to home for me and my childhood. 😢
