I would play the sh** out of a sequel. “Remnant of the Colossus” would be an excellent name, IMHO. It could be about the shaman/tribe that built the Colossi, and plan to make more for military purposes years after the events of Shadow. The reborn Wander could redeem himself for his “sins” by taking down the new colossi and their masters before they cause devastation to humanity. Just a fan-boy with dreams here, feel free to tear me apart.
I don't think the Colossi were built, rather were actual giants, creatures, like you and me. They populated the Forbidden Lands, (and The Last Guardian seems to say differently possibly) and it seems that people lived there too. Dormin was clearly some kind of diety, or god, and was worshipped... Eventually, some people, including the Shaman (whether it was the Shaman we see in the present, or the Shaman from generations ago, it was a very very very long time in past) realized "uh oh, he's evil", and they fought a hard fight, and it seems the Colossi joined in to the fight as well. The Colossi, being clearly creatures of power and might, and pride for their lands, were the ones to take a fall in sealing dormin. Dormin was split into 16 fragments, which was also the amount of Colossi that were left alive... Sealed with the Forbidden Sword, 16 fragments were sealed in each colossus. When you use the sword on one of the sigils of a colossus, imagine a key opening a lock. In fact, there is a marking that resembles a lock on these symbols. These are like magic seals. When you kill the colossus, black tendrils come out, and enter your body. When you wake up back in the Shrine of Worship, you have shadowy figures standing above you- one of each colossus slain, and the respective colossus's statue erupts and falls to pieces in a glorious light show of destruction. This leads me personally to believe that the life force, or the souls of the Colossi are held within these statues. This could explain why they are practically stones- if they can't die, and their mortal bodies and their souls are separated (yet still connected) then their bodies might never die, which over the centuries, would turn to stone almost, growing moss and plant life on them. Or, perhaps it's a fragment of Dormin keeping them alive, perhaps a mortal soul and a fragment can't be sealed within the same vessel, which is why the soul would be stored in a magic statue, that way they still live on...(also, Colossi are born from light. When they die, and Dormin's fragment come out they are shrouded in darkness, and Dormin is always associated with such, but their statue explodes with bright white[almost that mystic blue hue] light.) Dormin and a Mortal soul living in the same vessel would cause destruction... Sound familiar? At the end of the game, Dormin, now materialized, out right states he used Wander's body as a physical vessel! Throughout the game, you see Wander's state get more sickly... He gets pale, and turns grey almost, his veins start to cloud black, and he gets stronger, stamina and health increasing with each fragment, but he always ends up looking more weak... By the end, he is so corrupted, with a full 16 fragments, he is barely able to move... He is completely devoid of human color, his veins run with dark black colored blood, his eyes are demented and blue, and horns have sprouted from his skull... He is brought back right underneath where Dormin's light is, and when he is killed, the fragments come together, using Wander as a vessel to be physically complete. This even shows when Dormin in physical form (the giant, black demon you play as at the end) is shown holding his chest, where wants was stabbed, and is dragging/limping on his right leg where Wander was previously shot with an arrow! All of this proves the Colossus being living vessels used to protect the fragments from coming together, guardians of the shards of evil, forever living out their duty, even when their flesh turns to stone... Wait... Guardian? The Last Guardians? Well, what about Trico? The Last Guardian? His eyes show similar behaviour to that of a colossus.... Ah, that's a dive for lore another day, huh?
catmaster 2004 I agree, they play nearly the same at the end, but 14 has a cooler build up. But remember that the 8 were cut for a reason. 11 was chosen over them.
Honestly, it would’ve been cool to see these guys in the new HD remake. But, it sounds like the developers must’ve had a hard time trying to put together the fights during development. So, I’ll give it a pass in this circumstance! I mean, after all, it’s not like they just cut them only to re-purpose them for paid dlc when they were already finished in the first place!
No there just lazy fucks remakes are just used for dumb people that think remakes is a good way to be nostalgic about a old game playing on ps3 remaster or ps2 emulator of shadow of the colossus are the best ways and it still has that original art style that made the game special and made it a classic so why would you want to ruin a classic with modern graphics I’d honestly rather have ps2 version with bad fps than remake like yes remake is still fun I love shadow of the colossus and I will play it for other secrets it has but I’d prefer the original anyday it was unnecessary giving it a remake it look good already in 60fps and good resolution the perfect remake would be to have the option to pick original ps2 graphics and options to pick modern graphics for the normies and fucking actually not being lazy and adding the missing colossi I just want to fight a giant fuckin spider that’s 5,000ft tall no other game has a spider that big also if I want a team ico style game with modern graphics I’ll play last guardian but shadow of the colossus is a classic and the old graphics are already amazing
@@armorwolf7934 Hey uh calm down! Your opinion is ok but I think is bad to insult the developers of the remake like that Remaking a game like SOTC is one of the hardest things ever, not only because of the grafics, you also need to recreate the atmosphere of the original game. And I have to recognize they didn't do that at all, but thats why we have filters! Fumito Ueda isn't even the director now, if he was, then, maybe there was going to be a posibility of seeing the 8 colossi that were removed and maybe some alternative ending, but that didn't happen. In my personal opinion, the PS2 game and the PS4 game are the same thing. One with better grafics, one with better atmosphere; I have played so many times the PS4 game, I love it so much. But I miss playing the PS3 version since my PS3 is broken, but afterall, I still have the disc in my hands, waiting for the day that I'll have enough money to fix it. I love SOTC, it's my favorite game ever, but I hate seeing fans arguing about the grafics. it's just stupid for me. But anyways, just saying that your opinion is completely ok! But try to give the developers of the remake a little bit of credit cus' they have made this community united again.
Interesting thing about the abandoned Spider: in Dormins complete form at the end of the game you can clearly see spider like legs purtruding from its back, yet none of the official Colossi have this appearance.
Well it is pronounced eekoh. Shadow of the Colossus was originally going to be called Nico, a play on of Ni(2 in Japanese) and Ico. Because of this, it's speculated this is how Trico got its name. Tri(3)/Ico
@@alpharabbit2353 Ico is the second game. Shadow of the Colossus is the first because in the end, Wander becomes a baby, and in Ico, you play as a young Wander.
And no... The horned boy in Ico isn't the baby. Ico takes place MANY generations after SotC. Because unless horned children were already common, it's very unlikely
if i remember correctly, griffin arena is still in the game's code too and 3 move from Sirius are still there too. The 3 moves were exactly the same from the colossus 11 and 14 when they back up or scare
It's always been interesting to me that the scorched area you see pictures of the phoenix in is still in the game. I used to enjoy exploring the game and looking at the scenery and inventing history of the areas and structures.
48 colossi, jeez...I think it's totally possible today, through the miracle of DLC, and I would hope that with the upcoming PS4 version due out in February 2018, that they do include all of the colossi that were supposed to be in the game. The map is already huge with 16 colossi...does that mean, pro rata, that the map would be 3X BIGGER with 48 colossi?
Would the map be 3x bigger? Yes and no. As it is only 56% of SoC's map is actually used, the rest is either empty space or inaccessible areas with invisible floors. The 8 scraped Colossi could've easily fit in the game map if it was fully fleshed out, however making all 48 would need a huge increase in size. So if you mean playable area, it would need to be 4x bigger, if you mean the actual plane of existence the game is built on it would need to be 2x as big.
Just having the 8 that were already built would be nice. I get they used elements from them for the colossi we got but something like Spider and Devil should be doable
First off, they designed 48 colossi, but they didn't intend to have that many in the game anyway. Second, Shadow of the Colossus should not have DLC. Having a DLC menu, and just buying DLC for the game would just ruin the aesthetics. I would not have minded if they just put them in. They said they wouldn't want to put in additional bosses because that would ruin the atmosphere of the game, but I think it would've been alright if you could access them after you beat the game. I mean, my argument with that is that you can unlock exploding arrows, a parachute, and other things that are fairly ridiculous, so having the option to fight the unused colossi after beating the game wouldn't be too ridiculous. Though I think making them DLC would ruin the atmosphere.
@Quality content! DLC isn't bad. DLC at launch is bad. DLC is amazing so long as it isn't something that should have already been there at the start (ie something they thought of later instead of during development (this is more situational though))
This entire thread is really typical.. "They should have included them as DLC", " They should have added more colossi for the remake", "they would have been cool, the devs were just lazy" etc.. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but clearly not everyone know the first thing about game design- and development.. By prototyping and iterating on various colossi, Team ICO made a modern classic for the ages. Sure, they could always have just added more colossi (and plenty of studios would probably have done that) but there are massive drawbacks to that design strategy: 1) Decide on 16 colossi, and each can receive a 16th of your attention when you get around to polishing and refining the way it behaves, looks, feels and fights. For every colossi you add, you will have less time to polish *each* of them. Simple math really. 2) Say you have 42 colossi sketched out. As you make rough prototypes and test them out, you realize that they vary in practical quality (i.e. how fun and novel they actually come across). You may even rate them on a scale from 0 to 10. Now, what happens to the average 'fun factor' throughout the game, when you remove the 26 worst? Exactly. 3) Just because something seems, sounds or look cool doesn't mean that it plays that way (and vice versa). There is a shit ton of evidence for that, just looking at video games in general. Video games are rarely about high-concept. They are about feel. Adding more colossi back them would likely have divided the attention of the development team, and (even more importantly) diluted the experience for the player. As for the remakes; they already messed with them a little bit, which was completely unnecessary. You don't make a sequel to Citizen Kane, you don't remix David Bowie, and you sure as shit don't mess with the perfection that is SotC.
So basically your saying they would have had to do more work to add them in the game.. No kidding, I think that's the idea. Also nothing is new. The 8 colossus were already made by the original artist. This would be like David Bowie having a song that he made and never put on album, then putting it on a remaster. This happens all the time. So nothing more is being asked, but to add originally intended content that was removed due to time and development constrictions at the time. On top of this, most of the boss locations remain on the original map. Any additional locations could be added in secret areas not to conflict to much with the original layout.
It's a remake, not a remaster. What's the point of buying the same game over and over? If you've already played the game playing it again but prettier is pointless, new content satisfies old fans. I question if you're a game dev or just someone trying to sound like one.
You're speaking in terms of back then. Just doing 16 of them was very ambitious. It would still be ambitious today. That's not the issue at all. The issue is wasting a whole decade on a game that was essentially trash compared to the last two. They only spent three years on this masterpiece. With the advancement in technology and all the unused content, it is plausible to have made at least two sequels. Or even a simple expansion pack for the nearly finished bosses instead of random cheap collectibles. But the developers truly did decide to become lazy instead.
I would love to have fought Phoenix and Devil. Devil seems cool and looks like it would work better than most of the other unused colossi. Phoenix however, seems extra cool, which is partly due to me imagining that there'd be a little cutscene once you drop it in the lake. It goes in blazing, and flies back out, spreading its wings with water droplets launching off of it. It would be beautiful. It also sounds interesting to get it into the lake, like you'd probably need to mess with it's balance. I with they'd at least have made videos of fighting some of the unused Colossi, partially to see what they were talking about. Ones that just didn't seem to work, or Spider that needed Wander to have a new animation for I get, but the ones like Worm and Griffin would've been cool to see. At the very least they could do it so there's a little bit of something new to the game and they can be like "This is what we're talking about, Griffin's body is not meant for climbing, but if we changed it, it wouldn't look right so we couldn't do it.
There is a short clip of Rock which was released more than a decade ago. It's really short and it's the only footage of the unused colossi we ever got.
patrick22014 Yeah, it’s kind of disappointing. They honestly should do some sort of video showcasing all of the cut colossi and why they were removed! I’m curious to see if there exists an early copy of the game that includes some of this early content, I’m just saying that could be a possibility!
Man the spider could have been kept if they gave it a projectile, maybe like a poison damage type projectile, and have you shoot the joints/ankles with your arrow to throw it off balance. It had such a unique design too!
I think that I have come up with an idea for the monkey colossus. You start by entering a cave and It is on the cave ceiling, and you can’t get to its vital spots. You then have to shoot the arms of it to make it fall down onto the floor and then you can get to its vitals, and you will have to do it twice so that you can get to its 2 vitals and so that the battle isn’t too short. If the battle did play out like this, I feel like this one could be more of an early game colossus. Edit: I didn’t actually watch the video until after I made the comment, so I literally just explained how the boss could have went down (with a few minor changes) without even watching the video
Not lazy to ignore these cut colossi, as the original Team Ico disbanded and BluePoint only had the finished PS2 assets to rebuild from. Anyway, the Dormin as a translation of Nimrod would no longer work. In the Nimrod legend/myth, he was defeated and split into sixteen parts. Why paint more disciples to add to The Last Supper and ruin a finished masterpiece...
DingDongWeenie he means a proper sequel that follows this game’s mechanics. I don’t care much for a sequel, as that would ruin how this feels like a standalone game in its own right. I’m just more sad we couldn’t be allowed to at least explore cut areas like the dam.
They need to make a game literally called "abandoned colossi" same gameplay, different land, perhaps a different hero (maybe Mono?) Where you defeat them but instead of them turning to dust and draining your energy, they contribute to you using their power somehow.
maybe the in-game reason the colossi didn't show up is because someone before wander killed some of the colossi but instead of wander he/she either died or decided to stop what he was doing due to him knowing more than what wander knew. like turning into a damn infant
I never really saw footage of this game on PS2, and seeing it, going from the PS3 and PS4 versions, it makes it look like a handheld port. Mainly from how things are a bit slower and certain things are more highlighted.
I'm not saying it wasn't, it still looks great. A part of it is that when you shoot arrows, the arrows look pretty bulky and seem to glow. If you look at stuff like Metal Gear Solid 3D on the 3DS, and the 3DS version of Xenoblade Chronicles, then compare them to the console versions, you'll see what I'm talking about.
ShoryuGame With the insane attention to detail and the fact that the game was made from the ground up, Id say lazy is the last thing Bluepoint is. Its more of a difference in want. Bluepoint wanted to remake the original as best they could, not remix it as the complete/definitive edition.
The storytelling? You mean a few cutscenes and a silent story? Not uncommon in games, and the lonely and empty atmosphere? That's a downside if anything, themes of selfishness and love are not unique to this game. Whats unique is the 16 colossi that all share different abilities and appearances that the player is able to climb and slay. Just because you love the game doesnt make it a masterpiece.
ShoryuGame It wasn't made by the original devs and bluepoint wanted to be faithful to the original game made by team ICO After all, this game is one of the greatest of all time and to try to change it without the original director. Could have a negative response from the community
Shadow Of The Colossus PS2, Remastered for PS3, Remastered for PS4 but in PS4 Pro it’s even better, tomorrow Remastered again for PS5, PS6 and so on! Are we all fools? Enough of just improving the graphical enhancements every time a new console is out. Give us new Colossi to fight and new areas to explore!
With new tech that has come out couldnt they add the cut out Colossus as DLC? I mean, you can put more data on a disc or digitally. It would make long time fans happy as well for them to be added because they would have new bosses and more reason to head back to the game.
I’d really like to play those bosses too especially The Phoenix and the Devil but...They were removed for a reason. The developers put a lot of thought into each Colossus and he deleted them for reasons all related to gameplay. Remember the game wasn’t finished when they were scrapped so it’s highly unlikely that they’ll make them as DLC...it would be cool though a fella can dream
I know that there was a rumor going around about the strange gold coins/relics scattered around the PS4 remake. People were saying that it would unlock one of these unused Colossi for you to fight. Obviously this isn't true, but that would have been kind of cool. (And it turned out that collecting all the coins/relics unlocked the basement of the main temple and gave you the Sword of Dormin, which is actually a really badass item.)
Aye, I think they designed Dormin's look when spider was still being developed. Then he was scrapped, but they must've liked spider lags on Dormin, so they just kept it
Man, Aberth would have been so cool! They should have definitely found a way to use it. If it was possible, than I'd switch it out with either Basaran or Pelagia. I think it would have worked great if they just used Aberth, instead of Basaran and kept everything else the same. The Geysers would have worked well for the battle. Those two are the only Colossi that I didn't like. Or maybe they could have Swapped Kuromori for Aberth, and kept the battle exactly the same. However, I really like Kuromori's design though.
I wish the person we play as could’ve been remade more realistic but kept the original kind of facial features. It doesn’t feel like it matches up with the environment and collosus. (Idk if I spelt that wrong) I enjoy the game though honestly but I do wish actually had a multiplayer option 🤷♀️
i did here about a part 5 of Shadow the Colossus coming out but it's going to take a long time and they might include the 8th Colossus so yeah I mean I don't know if there's going to be a part 5 but I know there is going to be one in my opinion
I wish they could have at least added the spider one that would have been a scary boss battle to me the spider is scarier even more so than the final largest Colossus just because of its design
I have a question that probably noone knows the answer but are there more people who tried to Fight the collosus maybe thats why there are only 16 i know it was because colision detection but there are 24 poles behind the tempel and 8 are noked over
I feel that they could have scrapped one of the Minotaur Colossi (Barba in this case) and made room for one of these (I'd go with Aberth or Monkey. Idk, one or two Colossi looked out of the box (Pelagia). I have a feeling that it was sort of like a filler Colossi when they scrapped the 8. Pelagia is pretty much a competitive version of Quadratus.
4:13 they should've keep sirius and replaced that panther cat colossus that would charge at the pillars to make u fall missed opportunity and it was staring at them
I really wish that these colossi were in the game, or at the very least included in the PS4 remake. As much as I love the game, I am disappointed with how short it is. If it had 24 colossi, it would honestly make it even better
Devil's mechanics seem too similar to the one where you have to burrow under the mound and pop up on the other side behind the colossus and jump on it. If you had to scrap one, it could have been either.
The reason why they didnt do 48 is because the ps2 wasn't strong enough to handle the numbers of bosses and if there is 48, the map will be way bigger. Like 10 times bigger...
I figured it was the phoenix, since both were overpowered? Edit: All I can find is it's associated with the cut song "Final Battle," which is said to only be a rumour.
not joking I've seen sirius when I was 1 year old, my dad would sit me in front of the tv and play games in front of me, and not sure if he was testing shadow of the colossus but I remember seeing a boss that looked like celosia in a grassy field and with stone structures, I specifically remember wander standing on a wall with the celosia in a grassy field and with stone structures running at it. I may be one of the only people that's seen real gameplay footage of sirius
Better graphics, clear view, breathtaking landscapes and yet they Still Haven't Added MORE COLOSSI. Team Ico had one job and they Still Haven't done it
Fun fact: The battle themes for Devil and Worm are still in the game. They are called "Anger" and "Final Battle" respectively.
"Final Battle"? Does that mean that Dionin was going to be the final boss instead of Malus?
Gina Sonicstar Malus probably would’ve still been the final boss. That name of the music really could’ve been anything.
I’ve never heard people refer to the colossus as Dionin. Is this a new thing in the SOTC fanbase?

Apparently wander and mono populated the forbidden lands and that is where the boy from ico came from
Mikan San nope, dorman’s soul was trapped in each of the colossi
My god...
YOU ARE A GENIUS BOI!!!
The worm and phoenix both seemed awesome, I'm surprised they decided to scrap those yet keep the two runts of the litter (colossus 11 and 14).
I don’t mind 11 but 14 really shouldn’t exist
catmaster 2004 cool
catmaster 2004 I agree, they play nearly the same at the end, but 14 has a cooler build up. But remember that the 8 were cut for a reason. 11 was chosen over them.
Feel like I’m the only one who has the most fun with 14 lol
I like cenobia shut up
Honestly, it would’ve been cool to see these guys in the new HD remake.
Your opinion is ok but I think is bad to insult the developers of the remake like that
Remaking a game like SOTC is one of the hardest things ever, not only because of the grafics, you also need to recreate the atmosphere of the original game.
@@armorwolf7934 dude you're clown
Interesting thing about the abandoned Spider: in Dormins complete form at the end of the game you can clearly see spider like legs purtruding from its back, yet none of the official Colossi have this appearance.
That makes a lot more sense. I always wondered why those weee hanging of dormin

Well it is pronounced eekoh. Shadow of the Colossus was originally going to be called Nico, a play on of Ni(2 in Japanese) and Ico. Because of this, it's speculated this is how Trico got its name. Tri(3)/Ico
I know that's how it works, "eye-koh" is a mistake.
@@alpharabbit2353 Ico is the second game. Shadow of the Colossus is the first because in the end, Wander becomes a baby, and in Ico, you play as a young Wander.
@@bendydemon1666 Ico came out in 2001. Shadow of the Colossus came out in 2005. That's what I mean by "first"
Worm does make a perfect fit into the game. Worm looks pretty terrifying and intimidating to fight against...
It's always been interesting to me that the scorched area you see pictures of the phoenix in is still in the game. I used to enjoy exploring the game and looking at the scenery and inventing history of the areas and structures.
It’s in the game but inaccessible
I get they used elements from them for the colossi we got but something like Spider and Devil should be doable
forget DLC, stick with 16, don't mess with the original.... I'd love more colossi, but really the game is perfect as it is
First off, they designed 48 colossi, but they didn't intend to have that many in the game anyway.
@Quality content! DLC isn't bad.
DLC at launch is bad.
DLC is amazing so long as it isn't something that should have already been there at the start (ie something they thought of later instead of during development (this is more situational though))
You can now fight these Cut Colossi in a Fan Game called Beyond the Forbidden Lands
I wish they would just make a part 2 and include all these Colossi plus some new ones. Its a dream I know but damn it would be sweet
Damn it, I'm sure the game would be more loved and challenging if they kept those 8
Rainbows115 Dash It would also be cool to see if there’s more colossi that we don’t know about that were also removed!
and longer lmao , u can beat the game in 10 hours
Nyo hoo
It’d be amazing to have these as side bosses or something you can just do, but aren’t colossi
Começando 2020,assistindo vídeo sobre SotC! Great vídeo! Congratulations!
Neat Facts:
There's still textures for Serius and code for the Worm on the ps2 game.
wesleyfilms Are they the only cut colossi with remaining code, or is there more that maybe we haven’t found yet?
One of them looked like Trico!
ShoryuGame YA-
I don't want to imagine fighting poor Trico and killing him
Not lazy to ignore these cut colossi, as the original Team Ico disbanded and BluePoint only had the finished PS2 assets to rebuild from. Anyway, the Dormin as a translation of Nimrod would no longer work. In the Nimrod legend/myth, he was defeated and split into sixteen parts. Why paint more disciples to add to The Last Supper and ruin a finished masterpiece...
Yeah, they could have just been activated in New Game Plus or something, in different areas than the main 16.
I want a shadow of the colossus 2
FrostGaming thats how you kill great games roght there
What about The Last Guardian?
Dont we all...
SOTC is a prequel to ICO.....
That's a RAD idea. I love that.
hearing "spider fell down" buttered my biscuit
maybe the in-game reason the colossi didn't show up is because someone before wander killed some of the colossi but instead of wander he/she either died or decided to stop what he was doing due to him knowing more than what wander knew. like turning into a damn infant
But we should have found their broken statues in the temple.
@@ShoryuGame true but it is highly unlikely that wander would be the only one to seek the chance to revive what was lost
You straight up call them lazy for not including the collossi. I dont know what to say.
ShoryuGame With the insane attention to detail and the fact that the game was made from the ground up, Id say lazy is the last thing Bluepoint is.
Its more of a difference in want.
Bluepoint wanted to remake the original as best they could, not remix it as the complete/definitive edition.
Jake the game isn't about fighting monsters. I m laughing rn.
Then what is it about? because the main focus of the game is fighting 16 different bosses. Its exactly what the game is about.
ShoryuGame
It wasn't made by the original devs and bluepoint wanted to be faithful to the original game made by team ICO
After all, this game is one of the greatest of all time and to try to change it without the original director. Could have a negative response from the community
A spider-like colossus would've been a really cool fight, but I'm happy with colossi we have. Except for Celosia. That fight is so annoying
It's not even a spider but an insect.
Imagine DLC for SOTC remake that added a mode with all 48 colossi
Shadow Of The Colossus PS2, Remastered for PS3, Remastered for PS4 but in PS4 Pro it’s even better, tomorrow Remastered again for PS5, PS6 and so on! Are we all fools? Enough of just improving the graphical enhancements every time a new console is out. Give us new Colossi to fight and new areas to explore!
PS4 was a remake, but I understand your confusion as it was essentially a glorified remaster.
That spider one is extremely creepy but I kind of like it.
At the end , Wander changes into a dormin . He has a spider like colossi in his back . I think , it is it . But it is removed from the game
Aye, I think they designed Dormin's look when spider was still being developed. Then he was scrapped, but they must've liked spider lags on Dormin, so they just kept it
I just hope someday Sony realize a DLC to fight against these colossi i love to watch Sirius it's my favourite 😍😍😍

How is it that there’s no niche community dedicated to creating more Collosi for this game?
I wish the person we play as could’ve been remade more realistic but kept the original kind of facial features. It doesn’t feel like it matches up with the environment and collosus. (Idk if I spelt that wrong) I enjoy the game though honestly but I do wish actually had a multiplayer option 🤷♀️
I can understand why they aren't part of the main game, to keep it true to the original. They should do what Vicarious Visions did and make it dlc

i did here about a part 5 of Shadow the Colossus coming out but it's going to take a long time and they might include the 8th Colossus so yeah I mean I don't know if there's going to be a part 5 but I know there is going to be one in my opinion
The spider colossi would’ve been awesome to fight.
I wish they could have at least added the spider one that would have been a scary boss battle to me the spider is scarier even more so than the final largest Colossus just because of its design
I have a question that probably noone knows the answer but are there more people who tried to Fight the collosus maybe thats why there are only 16 i know it was because colision detection but there are 24 poles behind the tempel and 8 are noked over
Oh yeah i forgot the statues
I wonder if the cut colossi will be able to be put into a dlc for the ps4 remake
Nope
Nomad colosuss found their arenas and paths even, but if their were collision problems then I can believe that.

Oh sorry man, I had a mistake, I couldn't hear that you said split in half so 48 : 2 is really 24, sorry about that 😀 Keep up the great work !
4 years late, but whatever.
It was 48 cut in half to make 24, but then they scrapped 8 more to keep 16.
4:13 they should've keep sirius and replaced that panther cat colossus that would charge at the pillars to make u fall missed opportunity and it was staring at them
I do wish there was a follow up for this game. It would have a lot of potential.

Noooooooo!!!
They first wanted 48 like you said but then they cut it in half to 24 and the demo developers cuted out 8 of them

I’m ngl I would love to see these added for the game’s 20th anniversary in 2025 but it’s just a dream of mine 🧍♂️
I wish we would've gotten them in the game and had them reworked. But Dormin's sword is dope.
There were a few that was not added at all but we know what they were like a buffalo and another warrior like gaias and an yeti and a few more

I really wish that these colossi were in the game, or at the very least included in the PS4 remake. As much as I love the game, I am disappointed with how short it is. If it had 24 colossi, it would honestly make it even better
Im new to the channel and i would like to ask were are you from?
From planet Earth
Oh maybe they should scater their bodies around like if someone was hete befor wander and get a trophie for finding the warior before wander dead body
I wish the remake used these colossi and maybe included a a new ending or whatever

So what are the other 8 you include here?
If the secret Garden area had Pholux in it, if you stayed in the area for too long.
Because it's the only Colossi that could be rescaled to fit.
The unused colossi are so cool
I would have LOVED to have a dragon colossus!
Cut 17th colossus video for that was lit.
Devil's mechanics seem too similar to the one where you have to burrow under the mound and pop up on the other side behind the colossus and jump on it. If you had to scrap one, it could have been either.
I wish they would keep a dlc in the game and atleast 4 removed colossus will be included in the dlc I wish this happens.
Why not to do a second game with these colussus?
Because the dev isn't into making sequels and just wants to be "artsy."
@@JustSomeKittenwithaGun "artsy fartsy"
