I’ve worked in a couple of kitchen in my life time, and let me tell ya, chefs can party, like ripping up the town party. We used to bar hop almost every Friday, we close at 10pm, and have to show up @930 the next day for 11am opening. I honestly can’t recall what happened most of those nights, but the ones I do remember, boy, was it the best time of my life. It was truly sad I had to leave the industry for financial reasons
Same but then I became overweight and had a drug addiction. I still work as a cook but gave up the drugs and drinking and started hitting the gym. While my coworkers are out getting wasted I clock out and go home to my wife and kids. Still some of the best times of my life though.
Hey I’ve got a food series called breaking bread and am looking for a partner to make content, I want someone who is looking to tell the story behind people and their food. Would any of you be interested? I have some episodes in production, if this sounds right for you happy to chat and create something special
Lot's of drinking. Lot's of fun. Lot's of food, delicious son. Definitely one of the better episodes. Thank you Munchies. Please keep sharing these talented videos. Blessings ChefMike

"Hi, we're cool young people whose lives are even better than you imagined, and we're nice enough that you can't even resent us" I speak from envy, what a life!
It wasn't though. This guy is not from Hackney. Everything about it is fake middle class bullshit. I grew up 15 mins from hackney, I know this is gentrified fake bullshit.
I stayed in an Air BNB apartment in the units just above there! Shame I spent too much time at The Dolphin and not enough here. Great kebab spot on the corner just south of Rita's though.
Justt for any non-Londoners seeing this, don't get any ideas. This is NOT how Londoners live. Even for the uber cool crowd - this is not ordinary. You can't walk out of your house on a whim, drop into a really nice restaurant, then drop into a gig. That is not ordinary. That would take out around £150 out of your pockets - and anyone that cool doesn't earn that much money.
I think Vice was like shit this is a fuckin good edit, and then tossed in more footage, cos you never usually see the prep of the return meal. good shit man Missy is touchy when drunk 0_0

I love how this guy had a little US wordage about him, having lived there. But great episode overall because they were great, genuine people, all subjective patriotism aside lol.

This is like a great socialising simulator while I'm stuck in lockdown
chef's night out with that butcher shop, those boys need to have their own ep.
This is one of the most realistic, down to earth groups of ppl I've seen on Munchies so far. I love it.

This just looks like a perfect life to me.
A chefs life is like playing Russian roulette.
Log hard hot physical hours but you sleep well at night

Wow these guys are great! Love the non-pretentious guys in hospo
Best episode ever. Everyone drunk at the end, the van packed and live rock music. The unpretentious episodes are usually the best.
Agreed
So good, loved the look of the food, people, drinks, and good times.
This was awesome!! All that food looked and definitely sure tasted amazing!
Best episodes of this are the ones that have hosts that are real drunks
This was by far the least pretentious episode in this series.
Sarcasm?
Magnetic Vortex I’m fully aware of this. Wankers
Quite the contrary. Not sure if you are being sarcastic though.
Best fucking Chef's Night Out yet. Blatantly checking Rita's next trip to LDN.
