What I can't wrap my mind around is why a tenant would begin a construction project on a house s/he doesn't own without permission from the landlord. As someone who has been a tenant for many years, I've done maintenance repairs but would NEVER physically change the structure without asking permission of my landlord. I'm curious to know how long these tenants lived there.
The way they ripped up carpet and removed drywall, and whole walls has my overacting imagination believing there was one helluva crime scene in that house.
I can't imagine why someone who is not the home owner would think this is ok. My sister is a landlord and she wrote a contract that allows her to go into her property quarterly for inspection purposes. Something to think about if you're a landlord.
Do not miss being an Alliance Ohio property owner. We had tenants bust a hole in the bathroom walk and drop used feminine hygiene products into the wall. Why?
That's pretty bad - Not only the mess, dirt, and broken stuff, but the half-done demolition or whatever the hell was happening in there - I've never seen anything like that before.
We live in Salem Ohio coming from Euclid, Ohio. The best town we lived in was Euclid, but has changed and not for the good. The housing dept was great. Anybody who owned rental property had to be inspected inside and out yearly by the fire inspector and housing dept. There were no slum houses, inside or out, when we lived there some 30+ years ago. There was no arguing with the inspectors. They made an appointment and the owner had to give notice to tenant. No show 2X and you were summoned to court.
I will never rent again my house was destroyed by a man and his daughter! dog poop from the top floor to the basement! Completely trashed the truth is most can't afford rent then you throw a animal in the mix!
Wow. . I have a Grand Old Dame of a house alot like this one. . I would not be as calm as you are if I rented it out. These people have no idea of the superior insulation that hair lathe walls have. . Obviously they're not at all educated as to how to renovate a house. First and foremost they shouldn't done any renovations duh it was a rental!!!!!
By the look of the rotten wood on the front and back porches I really wouldn't consider this house a prime property ! Looks like the property owner hasnt kept up with the maintenance of the outside of the house ! The inside is a mess but not unfixable !
Sorry about your loss I had similar problems not that bad those animals do not need to stay in any type of home the only home they need to stay in is a pen with pigs are I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and I hope you Sue them big and I’m sure you gonna get them a bad reputation. Sorry about your loss.
Spent all that money on construction material they could pay rent.left behind washer dryer and offer things they have given to any one in need cleaning supplies laundry detergent I feel so bad for you!
Wow..this is horrible! Hopefully you're taking them to court
I bet that once was a beautiful home!!
Those people should be arrested for what they did to that house!!!
It broke my heart to see the damages done to this house. How can someone live in a mess like this.

Didn't the property owners ever check the condition of the property periodically?

People like this is why it’s so hard to rent anymore. It’s shameful
Luckily, they didn't take out load-bearing walls... ❤😡
Is this a RENT TO OWN? WHY are they doing so much remodeling in a rental?
Unbelievable, never seen such damage. Tc ❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Does doing a referral check help finding if they are slobs? What were they building???

I don't understand why the tenant was spending money on drywall.

That is totally disgusting!! I hope no one else ever rents to them!!!!

My best friend lost a house because of a bad tenant, sold the House and lost $150,000 because of a bad tenant
Are you able to do rent inspections? I just say this because here in Australia they do.
This is absolutely disgusting. Was this a rental or land contract? Not that it makes a difference, just wondered.
I'd like to see the full video
Were you selling it land contract?
They started construction and it was a rental?
Former landlord, never again!
Alot of updated windows lol😂😂😂
Does this house have a half bath and room for laundry on first floor
Are we really surprised it's alliance
